Well, ok seriously... which toy version of Prime was your most top favorite? I know it's a great debate, and I'll rate every Prime I've seen so far. And no, I don't have every version of Prime. But I'm hoping to get them all. Below are my top three favorites so far.

    1st: 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime.

He's easily my most favorite. Great articulation, great appearance, awesome weapons and matrix. The vehicle mode looks good, but is not my most favorite for a vehicle mode for Prime. The robot mode is obviously the purpose why he's my most favorite of the bunch! But I like MP-01 Convoy the most out of the bunch. But the new DVD version isn't that bad either.

    Vehicle mode: 9.4
    Robot mode: 9.9
Overall rating: 9.9 out of 10

    2nd: Cybertron Optimus Prime.

Definately a SOLID favorite for me, in second place. The best... and I mean the BEST alt mode I've seen upon prime ever. While he's supposed to be a fireengine, he reminds me more of a highly-advanced futuristic military carrier. Prime's robot mode is very nice, awesome articulation... and the Matrix is another killer aspect, unfortunately it dosen't light up like 20th Prime's matrix. Cybertron Prime's supermode is easily my most favorite, and is the best prime supermode, no holes barred. overall, he reminds me of a gundam a bit... and the cannons are purely awesome. For powerlinking, Leobreaker's Savage Claw Mode is fairly good, leading the Sonic Wing mode as the best powerlinx mode. This guy is easily second most favorite, but I perfer the Galaxy Force version a bit more... better paint applications FTW.

    Vehicle mode: 9.7
    Robot mode: 9.7
    Supermode: 9.8
    Powerlinx modes: 9.8
Overall rating: 9.8 out of 10 (In my book, only a hair close to 20th Prime.

    3rd: Movie Leader Optimus Prime.

Another very excellent Prime figure, deserving the rank of 3rd. His alt mode is a Peterbilt truck. Good detailing everywhere, and good paint applications. Truck sounds are authentic, and quite nice. Robot mode is also quite nice... a bit of truck kibble upon his back, but nothing enormous to jeproazide the appearance. The mold details however are pretty cool too. The Auto-morphing gimmick is cool, just press upon his crotch. His chest spreads out, and his head pops up. Quite a cool gimmick I must say myself. Articulation, is iffy. While his arms have good poseability, and articulated fingers... his legs can be a bit of an issue to pose, as the rear wheels that were in truck get in the way. One other thing I like, is having the arm gun. Leader Prime is a good figure. While he's probably suffers from leg issues, his other abilities make up for this. This is definately the best movie Prime mold currently.

    Vehicle mode: 9.5
    Robot mode: 9.7
    Overall: 9.7 out of 10

You may list as many favorites as you want.

I agree on all three. Fire Convoy is in the #4 slot, and would have been able to claim #2 if the Super/God modes weren't so hampered by the abdomen-extension joint.

    1. G1 Optimus Prime - because it's iconic, and the trailer is awesome

    2. 20th Anni. Optimus Prime - perfect robot mode

    3. Classics Optimus Prime - because of its cool factor

I'd rate Classics Prime above Cybertron Prime, with the Movie leader toy just above him, and MP-01 above them all.

    EDIT, to clarify:

    1. MP-01
    2. Movie Leader
    3. Classics
    Honorable Mention: Cybertron/GF Leader

Classic Prime has got to be in the top 3. Just a great all around figure.

When I judge it's out of affection value and not how many points of articulation they have.

    1. Powermaster Optimus Prime.
    2. MP-01 Convoy + 20th anniversary special custom trailer.
    3. G.1 Optimus Prime
    4. Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime
    5. Classic Optimus Prime

After getting 20th anv Prime this week, there is no doubt he is my favorite version. The next one on the list would be TFTM Leader Prime, then the 3rd would be G1.

Yeah as far as Primes go my list runs along what's been said. 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime is the overall best, then I'd say Cybertron, RID, and movie leader for my top 4 total.

For me it's a real toss up between most of them listed here...

THS-02 and THS-01 (tiny articulation FTW)
    Powermaster Prime
    G1 Prime
    Bendy Primes (poseability factor)
    WST Primes
    Cybertron Prime

Guess the only one I don't care for is the G2 Hero mold...

Personally, I think 20th prime is an extremely weak figure.

Bleh vehicle mode, with heavy, boxy, unable to stand in most poses-'bot mode = total waste of my money. I only got one so my MP-05 could beat someone up who wasn't Starscream.

    My list:

    1. Movie Leader Prime. (The best Prime ever, next to Animated Prime who I didn't add because he's not out yet)
    2. Primal Prime. (He counts! Faceplate or not he's still more badass than most TFs)
    3. Classics Prime. (He's a nifty little guy. I don't like the arms, but the rest is good)

Honourable mentions: Cybertron Prime (AKA: BFG Prime), RID, bendy-Primes and Pepsi Convoy/Prime.

EDIT: I also have to give props to WSTF Prime for his awesomeness.

EDIT 2: Added RID Prime to honourable mentions.

I second OPs sentiment, MP and Cyb. Primes are my biggest faves too.

Unfortunately, I cannot really say anything about others since my only other Primes are Armada Supercon, Star Convoy and PM Prime reissue. If I chose by affection, I'd pick Star Convoy because he's 1) my first TF I bought as a collector, and 2) my first Japanese exclusive.

I think if I were to walk away from collecting with one Prime left, I would take with me the commerative series Powermaster Optimus Prime- nostalgia mixed with a beefier Prime makes it my favorite.

I'd still go for RiD/CR Prime for his impossible engineering, and Encore Convoy for his simple yet fun style.

Movie Leader Prime is awesome, too, but my son doesn't let me play with it.
