Looks like I maybe showing up at this year's botcon and I am a better short of spending money. I have an austin bazaar guitar that I really no longer have use for and was wondering how/where can I do this? Also I would pefer not to resolve to the internet(such as craigslist). The guitar is completely with accesiores(amp, case, whammy bar, extra strings).I am curious if guitar center would give me a good deal or are they like gamestop type of a thing where they give you like less than half?

No Idea about Guitar center but id recommend against selling at a pawn shop as you would not get a good deal.
My suggestion would be start by putting an ad in your local paper as well as contact local guitar instructors to see if they know any students looking for the guitar you have.
If that fails then I guess the Guitar stop would be your best bet and taking it in to see what the offer can't hurt either if its not enough then don't take
the offer. You might try other music shops that buy used Guitars as that would not hurt either.

I'd say if you're a dealer at botcon, just put it up as a prominent part of your booth/table. Perhaps you could make some sort of deal where "If you buy the guitar/accy's, I'll throw in (random transformer figure). Other than that, I would recommend showing up in a black cape, black wide brimmed hat, and black mask. You may also wanna make some mention about how you do all the thinnin'. You're sure to get a sale that way.

Yeah I am not really worried about the price as long as its triple digits(I think its worth somewhere around 170 or so) So I hope I have good spending cash I shall surely blow within two days of the dealer rooms.Oh god I'll be poed if I don't go.

Don't go guitar center. having worked there I know they only give you about 50% of what they're going to sell it for which is also 50% of what YOU can sell it for yourself. go craigslist all the way.

Sadly Craiglists or evil-bay are about the only options. Amazon perhaps?

Keep it. People usually miss their guitars. After a few weeks go by and those figs you bought have gained some dust on the shelf, you'll be thinking of her.

    Is there another way?

Could put a sign at the front of the neighborhood saying " yard mow - $15"
Get you some tan while you're at it for the summer.

Well the guitar is something I rarely use that actually I am pretty awful at. I just got it last year to try something new last time I used it was like two months ago so I'd rather have money to use at botcon for figs. Also I plan on making a new photocomic in fall time and need new figures like alternators and so it will get used.

Oh thanks for the heads up man. I think that system is ridiculous maybe two thirds of the price is what someone should get. I have been asking around and a friend of mine said he will spread the word around.
