In the tf trigoly which megatron desgin did u like

 

TF1 Megatron.

 

I'll go with the Hobo with the shotgun design from DOTM.

i like ROTF's design cuz i love me dat murder-arm [asymmetry ftw]

but i do like DOTM's a lot as well. the shotgun. dat tarp. very nice



hard to pick a favorite for me [but i know its definitely NOT the first movie design]

 

DOTM will win because everyone likes his shot gun, tarp, truck mode and find his hobo look funny.

I look for more than just what's the most badass and like ROTF best. It looks so much like a military officer dude, which Megatron is. Boot like tread feet, fancy stuff on his shoulders. And it generally appeals to me. A lot more than a fat hobo like DOTM Megatron or a monster like TF1 Megatron.

His Death Lock Pincer looks more aline than a shot gun and more convenient than sticking both his arms together. I prefer his jet mode but like a tank better than a pathetic truck.

Although, TF1 will probably always have a place in my heart for being the first Megatron I ever saw. But I generally like Megatrons ROTF design best.

 

ROTF. I love that murder arm and those tread feet.

 

If I had to say, DotM was the best design, even though none of them looked anything like a Megatron should look.

 

Yeah, this.

I like the DOTM design, only because it actually turns into something identifiable.

 

I'm not sure to be honest; for robot mode I can never go past old G1 Megatron but as a whole package Animated Megatron comes close to being the best one I've seen so far having both an excellent robot mode and a unique but useful vehicle mode.

 

Revenge of the Fallen. He looked so menacing, had a fitting alt mode and his arm of doom is epic.

 

DOTM. Shame it didn't get a Leader toy.

 

DOTM. Loved everything about that design. Didn't care for the 07 movie and ROTF designs cause I hate the cybertronian alt modes. And the murder arm was a stupid looking weapon.

Transmetals megatron.

How do you not love a purple headed metal t-rex with hovercraft hips and rollerskate feet?  

Not to mention he's the megatron that actually got sh*t done.

 

I'm more a G1 Megs person myself. But the OP did specify the movie trilogy as the only options to choose from.

So I'll go DotM since it actually looked like something and had a pretty decent toy.

 

ROTF megatron ftw. that design was perfect and it really should have been in the first movie.

 

I'm torn between ROTF and DOTM.

On the one hand, ROTF has that nice shiny silver colour, the tank treads, the big-old shoulder, the death-arm, and I like that spindly lil' claw XD

Plus he has a jet-pack, which is cool.

The truck version is pretty hardcore. The wheels on the feet, the big tanker legs, the shoulder pieces, the shot-gun, the hood. It all fits in with his new nature as fallen from power.

 

DOTM version. It was interesting to see him using an Earth vehicle form for the first time.

 

I love my Tinfoil McStabbyarm. RotF Megs is my favorite design of the movies, especially that murder arm. Overall he's just something that says "Megatron" to me.
