At this point I have 4 sealed and was wondering what I could add to it to make the collection better for lack of a better word. I have these 4 now sealed in boxes:

    Scorponok
    Ironhide
    Shockblast
    Jetfire

I know I need to try to find Overcast,Ultra Magnus and Wing Saber.

There are a lot of great toys in this line,
from the horrorcons to the omicons and the combiners.

Even though many hated it, I loved Optimus Prime.

I also love Starscream and Megatron.

Starscream is very good. Don't forget the Landmine/Landquake! A great figure, and you can usually get it cheap. Rodimus is good. The Grimlock/Swoop 2-pack is very good. Megatron/Galvatron. I would just buy them all, this was a great toyline(even though the cartoon was dumb).

Mirage is awesome imo. Also, for their size, the omnicons are great. Have very good articulation and posability.

I cant think of anything non-repaint in energon that is actually worth avoiding.

it's my favorite line from the A/E/C trilogy. the only molds I never got from it were bulkhead and cliffjumper, which I still feel bad about.

get everything you can. they're all great.

Megatron was the only truly good toy.

Oh wait, there was that other one too... I think his name was... Galvatron.

Yeah, only have a few of the KB Toy repackages of the Energon toys. And I highly reccomend Sharkticon. The colors aren't that bad actually. The head is pretty loose but it's nothing to gripe about.

the majority of the decepticons are great, and along with landquake/landmind, quickstrike/bulkhead, wing saber is ok, he's a brick, but still fun.

    the combiners are "ok"
the autobot deluxes/voyagers kind'a stink lol. *the concept is nice, but the gimmick really ruined the line in my opinion, as it kind'a made them all have the same body form, and little to no waist and what not.

the basics were pretty cool though.

I have only about 1/2 the line, but Bulkhead is one of my favorite figures period.

Energon is probably my favorite line of the last 10 years and I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the figure, although Mirage (left leg pops off) and Slugslinger (absolutely nothing pegs together properly) have major problems. The Decepticons in particular are fun toys and Hasbro tried some unique stuff with the line (High Wire/Kicker, Alpha Quintesson), even if it didn't all work out that well (Autobot duo-combiners). My short list of must-have Energon stuff:

    - Dreadwing - Repaint of Mirage, with the leg fixed.
    - Sharkticon
    - Starscream - Either "battle damaged" or "G1" deco.
    - Megatron
    - Quickstrike
    - Landmine
    - Constructicon Maximus quintet
    - Strongarm
    - Divebomb
    - Insecticon - Not generally popular, but one of my personal favorites.

out of the ones not mentioned Energon Tidalwave is very nice too and ill add the big Optimus, Divebomb and Inferno/Roadblock theres more that im sure are great but my Energon figure collection is limited atm

and to the people that say Rodimus is awesome I dont think we have the same figure I think hes absolute crap

oh and ill also add Superion Maximus that is a killer figure though the energon bits as hands sucks theres a way past that

    ALL THE SCOUTS!

Just stay away from the combiners. They're really good, but get the Walmart Exclusive Dev and Uni Superion & Bruticus instead. Unless you like the orignal deco.

    DON'T YOU DARE AVOID TREADSHOT...;)
