"Alright then. If you want orders, follow this one. Kill yourself." "The Daleks must survive!" "The Daleks have failed. So why don't you finish the job, and make the Daleks extinct? Rid the universe of your filth?! WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE?!" "... You would make a good Dalek." The most intense exchange between a two-hearted dude and a squid in a death-pepperpot I've ever heard.
Everything good that comes into our lives, the universe takes away. So from now on I'm just gonna lie here and never care again.
If they were going the full G Gundam route, the final attack should have been something like "Burning Sword" or "Shining Sword". Instead, they went with "Spirit Sword" which is the name of Kuwabara's signature skill/technique from Yu Yu Hakusho.
They called it the "Spirit sword" in the TFS version because he literally channeled a Spirit Bomb into his sword. Even Goku says in the original dub that he's never thought of using a Spirit Bomb that way.. Though knowing the Team Four Star guys it was an intentional reference to Yu Yu Hakusho along with G Gundam. Those clever bastards...
"If you hate your parents, the man or the establishment, don't show them up by getting wasted and wrapping your car around a tree. If you really want to rebel against your parents, out-learn them, outlive them, and know more than they do." - Henry Rollins
“There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. Seek nothing outside of yourself.” Miyamoto Musashi "As swift as the wind, as gentle as the forest, as fierce as fire, as unshakable as a mountain.." Sun Tzu, The Art of War
This one is truely important to me, The Firefighters Prayer: When I am called to duty, God, wherever flames may rage, give me strength to save a life, whatever be its age. Help me embrace a little child before it is too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert, and hear the weakest shout, quickly and efficiently to put the fire out. I want to fill my calling, to give the best in me, to guard my friend and neighbor, and protect his property. And if according to Your will I must answer death's call, bless with your protecting hand, my family one and all..
“Manners. Maketh. Man. Do you know what that means? Then let me teach you a lesson.” - Harry “Galahad” Hart (Colin Firth), “Kingsman: The Secret Service”
Saavik, slapping the emergency stop button on the turbolift "Permission to speak, Admiral?" Kirk "Self expression doesn't appear to be one of your problems." Saavik (stern stoic silence) Kirk "You're still bothered by your performance on the test..." Saavik "I seek to resolve the situation." Kirk "There is no resolution, it's a test of character." Saavik "May I ask what YOU did, sir?" Kirk, starting the turbolift "Well, you may ASK..." Saavik (stern stoic silence) Kirk "It's a little joke." Saavik "Humor, such a difficult concept. It is NOT logical." Kirk "We learn by doing." Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan I bring this up because I find a way to use that last line as much as humanly possible. ESPECIALLY during drills in the military where people complain about them being "pointless" Admiral Pike "Are you giving me attitude, Mr. Spock?" Spock "I am expressing several attitudes simultaneously, Admiral. To which are you referring?" Star Trek: Into Darkness
Young Gamora: “Did you do it?” Thanos: “Yes.” Young Gamora: “What did it cost you?” Thanos “...Everything...” - Avengers: Infinity War (You may hate me now)
Sense you mentioned infinity war. Nebula: You should of killed me while you had the chance! Thanos: That would of been a waste of parts!
