    Dino Cassettes

Because it's the only way I'll ever own them.

Ruination KO for me. It's what started my collection.

    none.

The Dino cassettes I can understand though cause they're ludicrously expensive

Some of the Binaltech/Alternator KO's are pretty awesome. They were the only way I could afford to add Jazz and Nemesis Prime to my collection and I don't regret their purchases one bit!

Not wanting to get into a pedantic issue of semantics, I'll go with the iGear seekers, particularly Thundercracker.

Short answer is G1 Gnaw. Just got him and he's perfect.

I've been meaning to start a related thread, but you beat me by a nose hair. I aim it to be more specific, though. Which KO would you recommend or NOT recommend, the reason(s) why, and a pic or two. You think I should start the thread, or should we just do that with this one?

HA Barricade. Didn't notice he was KO until I saw the comparison thread. Even then, I still wasn't sure for a while. the Floppy Frenzy and no-clearance-frontwheels are the only things that gave it away.

fixes: shave away a part of the front hinge for the no-rolling issue
frenzy: just throw it away :/

    I don't consider 3rd party to be KO's.

I don't think it's been proven to be a KO yet. I'm getting convinced they are actually not.

Cassette Man – This vintage 80’s KO of Soundwave has tighter joints than any G1 Soundwave I’ve ever come across, including brand new reissues.

Minerva – So the torso is black, the windows are painted black, and the face is painted gold. But otherwise, it is pretty descent placeholder for G1 Minerva, especially with the Reprolabels Minerva stickers.

Oversized Bruticus – It’s Bruticus and he’s oversized. Need I say more?

Headmaster Heads 10 pack – That whole box costs less than what any one of those heads typically fetches.

Devastator Diaclone colors – I had this KO set as a kid and loved it. I think it only cost me around $20 for the set. At the time, I knew it was a KO but I had no knowledge of Diaclone. To me it was just a cool alternate colored Devastator for $20.

Oh I forgot that. I'm really glad to have her and Goshooter. Props to Reprolabels for the stickers for them too. Again, like the Dinos, I only really get KOs when the real thing is hundreds of dollars.

    Moved to correct forum.

And I'd agree with the guys who said Dinocassettes, Minerva, Go Shooter and the Headmaster set.

Anyone thinking about the CHMS Sunstorm, I'd recommend staying away. Not satisfied with it at all.

I've only bought one, and it was HA Barricade. It's amazing.

Agree on Dino cassettes, despite some issues (stickers and loose joints).

Although I really like the KOLD classics Optimus chromed gun (very pimping!)

Bah! You guys are boring. The best KOs are all the crazy remolded ones, like the Thomas the Tank Engine combiners.
