I'm wondering what other people think some of the better KOs are- out of the ones that are trying to be a bit different. My personal favorite was the green TM2 Megatron, who sits on my dragon shelf beside Cryotek and red TM2 Megs. Deluxe Energon Arcee wasn't bad, either. Any others?

Of the "original" ones, I'd probably have to say the Deluxe Nightscream. Finally makes the kid the size he was meant to be.

Otherwise, my vote goes to that show accurate Beast Machines Primal, the KO that was more accurate than anything Kenner-Hasbro put out in the run of BM.

my fave ones are the mini combiners one. they make great diorama pieces with the WSTs if you have basebots.

that said, the most impressive one is the oversized bruticus o_O

This is as good a place for my first post.

My favorite KO is my Dollarama Devastator

The plastic used to make them is the same quality as a real TF. Unlike the Hong Kong KO combiners (I bought the Stunticon set). Other than the lack of Decepticon symbols the only way to tell them apart is the lack of die cast parts. There was a Constructicon set in the near exact same colours when I was young, so that doesn't matter.

I had the old Construction Robo diaclone KO when I was a kid... all 6 Constructicons in red or construction orange in one box for $20. The box art was pretty kickass too... (if anyone has a link to that old box, I'd love to see it again).

At the time, that was a great KO... though I did end up trading it with another kid for a genuine Tracks, Sunstreaker, Inferno and Super Gobot Defendor, which I have to this day.

And of course, there was the glorious Shackwave! Since some rotten older kid stole my Megatron, it was up to er... "Grey Shockwave" to lead (and tower over) my Decepticons. In my stories Megatron was always "missing, presumed dead, etc". :)
I still have ol' Shacks too!)

I also had a bunch of the Convertors versions of the deluxe Insecticons. I liked their version of Barrage ("Crawler") way more than the official TF version. Better colours, a scale that matched the first wave Insecticons, and a less fussy transformation ftw!

    Here he is!

Man I'd love to find one of those. The neon colored Liokaiser KO I got at botcon is nice, but there are no breast force partners

Either that Liokaiser, Cassetteman or giant Bruticus KO. Suprised they dont bootleg more giant sized figs, some of them become grails within people official collections

The giant spychangers are pretty cool, here's two of them.

how much does the knockoff liokaiser go for?

i love knockoffs, as long as theyre cheaper than the real thing

ive actually got a dutch landcross giftset from victory, picked it up for about 30 bucks and the packaging looks very similar to the liokaiser set

pretty expensive. the problem with KO is that they exist for a short time so are rarer than the real thing.

    HOLY---!!

I didn't notice this at first... WHERE can I get one of those giant Grimlocks??

That is soooo incredibly, perfectly cool! Just think what a few custom ball-joints added to that figure would yield!

Please don't tell me that it's rarer than diamonds?
