Best Japanese Transformers series?

    That's one of the things I liked about Car Robots/RID, the fact that he was actually based on a real life Japanese fire truck made it even better. Even the car brothers had some design elements that were used in the Alternators/Binaltech line.
    How exactly is he not Optimus/Convoy?

    First one I ever saw was Masterforce, and it remains my favorite Japanese TF show to this date.

    He's Fire Convoy. Not plain Convoy. He's a separate character within that continuity, the same way Rodimus Convoy isn't original Convoy either. Original Convoy exists within that continuity, and it's not him. They're two separate characters that exist simultaneously.

    reminds me that I still need to finish Headmasters but sadly I lost, misplaced the DVD in my house over a year ago
