The worst head sculpt thread got me wondering, what do people consider to be a great head scuplt? Accuarcy, sculpted detail, porportion, detail, lack thereof?

For me, my tops are guys like Animated Bumblebee, Movie Leader Megs and BW non-TM Megatron. Basically heads that look really close to the media.

I'd say the best one is M Premium Optimus Prime, and the worst is both of the twins.

I like head sculpts with loads of detail, or with molded details you can fill in yourself, or designs that differ from "standard" ones. The Animated head sculpts are really cool for instance; they're original, have a fair amount of detailing, are easy to modify if one would want to, they have facial expressions, and still look a lot like their G1 counterparts. Sweet :)

I really like a lot of G1 head sculpts, like Grapple's/Inferno's and such. I love how clean it looks, and the craftsmanship is great.

I love Optimal Optimus' head sculpt, mainly because it reminds me of G1 ones and it's so clean and awesome. Not entirely show-accurate, but it is nice looking for what it is.

Other than craftsmanship, show-accuracy is always a winner. Universe Dinobot is fantastic, for one.

Cybertron Longrack has a VERY nice headsculpt. I also like the ghostbusters vibe from the cybertron defence Scattershot mold. The goggles scream Ray.

Anything with the essence of the Tick is awesome. If that head had pink eyes, and a word bubble saying: Twilight is the best thing evar!!!!111!1!1!11, it would still be awesome, because the Tick's essence is in it.

And yes, it is definately one of my favorite headsculpts. It oozes with character.
