    Hey all,

I'm planning on making a custom Dino figure, and I wanted some opinions on what head to use. I'll modify it as much as I need to. Here are my options:

    ROTF Sideswipe
    HFTD Elita-1
    ROTF Arcee
    ROTF Jolt
    TFTM Bumblebee

    Thanks

Sorry, should have mentioned, it'll have to fit on a Deluxe. And those are the scrap figures I have so I'd prefer using one of them as opposed to buying on just for the head.

    I'd pick Arcee/Elita-1.

Based on the concept art, I'd say either Bumblebee or Sideswipe

I was leaning towards Sideswipe, if I cut out the center of his head and smoothed out his chin.

I'm also working on a custom Mirage figure, and I encourage you to try ROTF Sideways. His head is angular enough to use with out alot of modification. All you're going to do is either mold the additional parts to glue on, or else create them using modeling putty.

If you cannot obtain a Sideways head, then use Sideswipe, but you're gonna have to mod it to get it to where it's close. Sandstorm is a good option, his head is just smaller.

I have Sideways, but not really wanting to use his head as I have only one. I'll have to see if I can find a Sandstorm somewhere and see what his head looks like. Thanks!

The Sandstorm head is rather small. It might be too little for what you're looking to do.

As for what you have, I think you have a pretty decent pool to choose from. I'd say Sideways and BB are equally good choices.

Sandstorm looks like Mirage a bit, but he is smaller. You would have to find a way to build up the sides, but the general shape and appearance are there. Also, make sure you find a ball joint that will fit his head, as well as the figure that you are mounting him on if you use it.
