What was the best Hasbro released TF this year?

    If other, please tell. :)

Some of the figures on the list is in the gray area of a 2009 release, but I added them anyways since the general release was in 2009.

Wrong forum for this kind of discussion. You should take this to the Toys Forum: Transformers Toy Discussion - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards

And, I am not sure what list you are referring to. There is none in your post, or linked to.

Sorry, I thought I was on the "Transformers Toy Discussion" forrum. I had multiple tabs up. :D

Anyways, I chose Cyclonus. Him and Prowl has one of the most innovative transformation in years.

MP SW is the best on the list but there are some others that are good runner-ups.

    i went for cyclonus.

the masterpiece of skywarp would be my choice but i went with new molds, that masterpiece is not really 'new'.

bludgeon i have but not really at mass retail yet so didnt want to go with him.

leader prime will probably clean this poll up though!

TFU 2.0 Hound, TFU 2.0 Cyclonus, TFU 2.0 Inferno, TFA Blurr and TFA Swindle were all initially released very late last year, both from HTS.com and some limited retail sightings (I got all five of them in the last 1 - 2 weeks of December 2008). They shouldn't really count as 2009 releases, IMO.

Of the figures that actually first came out this year, I'd have to go with Bludgeon. It's an amazing toy and I can't think of anything that came out earlier in the year that tops it.

I did say that those release was in a gray area. They didn't get mass releases till 1009. That's why I added them for 2009 releases.

I chose it on the list because it caused a some ruckus when it was released and it was an anticipated release for TF collectors.

I voted for RotF Leader Prime, but Cyclonus was easily the crown jewel of the Universe line this year, and Blurr was the most impressive Animated figure to me.
