So im kind of leaning back into collecting alternators and was thinking about which figure was the best base for both ironhide and trailbreaker ive compiled some images that look good to me what do you guys think. p.s. If i do any of thee customs i will probably get reproheads from broken arrow toys
I prefer the Ram mold for Ironhide. But I've seen alot of Custom Scion Ironhides that look good as well. I just think that the larger size of the Ram mold suits IH better.
I like the Ram mold for Ironhide because his upper arms/forearms make him look like he's got bigass clobberin' muscles. Yes, I know robots don't have muscles. Hush.

Personally i feel the Scion mold suits Ironhide well. And that ko Hummer would suit Trailbreaker. I got the Hummer and threw some reprolabels on him, left him in alt mode.
Think im gonna definateley use the hummer as trailbreaker So far 3 have said scion for ironhide and 3 have said scion :s i think im gonna go for the Ram though mainly cos it includes less painting and i use mp prime as my alt prime anyway thanks a lot you guys
Black Dodge Ram with Swindles head is Trailbreaker berfore Hasbro changed it for whatever licensing reasons they had. Scion XB is Ironhide. Scion XB with Prowls head is Ratchet. If you do the research there is some info around here somewhere that tells about what figures and heads are not who they intended to be.
