    Ebay:
A lot of the time, people talk about how overpriced things are on ebay and how things get bid up to stupid amounts etc..

So I was interested to know whats the best deal on a transformer you've ever managed to get through ebay?

Mine was Classics Grimlock and Acid Storm - £10 for the pair including postage

    Nice.

I got a few of the constructicons for $1 each when I was re-building my Devastator.
The best bargain I got on eBay, in my mind anyway, was a barely used Auto-Ceptor. This one is a grey/silver one from the Kronoform line - circa 1982/83. I got it for $2. I was the only one that bid on it, and my max bid was $40, I think. When it came in, my wife put it my stocking. It was right before Christmas a few yrs ago. I put a brand new battery in it, and it fired right up. It now stands in the front of one my glass cases, front and center. It's an excellent tribute to the quality and craftmanship of the early Japanese Takara TFs. I went on to buy a band for him, just to have, and ended up spending WAY more for the band than I did for the actual figure. Another time I won an auction for !00% complete MIB + all paperwork w/ an un-used sticker sheet Snapdragon for $82. That particular auction had the very-cool free s/h action. That Snapdragon is pristine and gorgeous and looks amazing on display.

Jesus...the summer when the first movie came out was amazing. If you had seen 1/4 of the deals that I picked up, you wouldn't believe it. People were emptying their attics out like nothing and virtually giving stuff away. I had one lot with every single combiner, a complete scorponok, and loads of other figures and i paid 200 bucks. The huge lots on ebay that sell for 1500-2000 now I was picking up for 4-600. It was an awesome time. I just wish I had bought more of the stuff back that summer and the year before. There was awesome stuff popping up at the time. The best too was that lots of Godaikins and old Popy stuff was popping up in the lots.

The only deal I got on ebay was a 100% complete loose Computron for $34 (plus shipping worked out to around $45). Not a super fantastic deal but I was very happy with it.

Once I picked up SDCC Rodimus and Menasor, both MISB in a set for something like $60.00. I was the only bidder and I could not believe my luck (the seller probably couldn't either). That's the one that always stands out in my mind.

G1 Bludgeon for something like a $22 BIN. Complete except for the large gun, which I picked up about a year later for $2.

lol, I just got this message...

Q: I am sorry but this item was not a buy it now that was a mistake and is suppose to be an auction I was in the middle of correcting when you purchased. I can not sell this item for .99 cents because it is not even mine I was listing for a friend. Will you please agree to cancel this transaction rather than mess up my ebay feedback. I would really appreciate your understanding in this matter.
