They all have equal faults and merits. But for the most suitable I’d have to go with the PRIME one; if they ever appear in a TFilm it’d fit them well to be rage-filled bestial rampaging robots.
The Marvel Comic had the best Dinobots easily. However I don't believe you are characterizing it well. I don't believe any of them were ever established as having been Gladiators in the Marvel comics. Warriors. Badasses. Troublemakers. The Dreamwave comics established Grimlock was a Gladiator. But even there none of the others were that I know of. -ZacWilliam, just saying, they were a team of pre existing commandos and trouble makers in the Marvel comic but thats it.
He means (Aligned) and Fall of Cybertron, which are related to Prime but not the same thing as it. -ZacWilliam, quiz could use a bit of editing.
Ah, I get it now. I know the deal with that (inb4sillyarguments), but kinda just brainfarted couse I vaguely remembered talk of past experiments, but just not ones that involved Grimlock & friends.
The best origin is when he was working for crime lord Megatron, but his deep sense of honor and his charismatic ambition led him to the Maximals. Oh wait, wrong Dinobot. Out of those four choices, though, I prefer the Marvel comics gladiator one.
I know! You can only catch a very fast glimpse of him in the '86 movie when they're landing that weird screw-shaped spaceship. I had to pause it right at the correct frame to see him.
G1 Marvel - easily makes the most sense to me. The crashed Ark needed to protect itself against a possible hostile in Shockwave so repairs 5 comatose Autobots and gives them alt modes of 5 of the most powerful entities on the planet.
i really prefer the g1 toon origin...i mean the ebst line int he tf movie...ME GRIMLOCK KICK BUTT...then kicks unicron right in his giant ass....it just isnt better than that
It's tough for me to choose between Marvel and Aligned, but I went with Aligned because I sorta like the experimentation angle for the Dinobots/Shockwave feud better. I absolutely hate the Sunbow origin.
