Dinobot.Pure badass.

 

Dinobot's death was classic. I do think that Armada Starscream's death was also fantastically done, from the last stab at Unicron to Prime consoling his surviving Minicon partner - truly epic stuff.

 

Out of the ones you listed, Dinobot. Easily.

 

As Sad as Dinobot's end was in "Code of Hero", Depth Charge's end has always stuck in my mind (at least, after rewatching the series in 2005/2006). I didn't remember it at all from when it was on FOX KIDS (and I'm pretty sure they left in the show during its original airdate and syndication), so it was more a shock for me when I saw it again and remembered it. It was so freakin' sudden in that threatrical sort of way. It really defined the motiviation his character and the lengths he would go to destroy Rampage.

 

I went with Dinobot, because this list is biased to heroic deaths. Personally, I thought Rampage's death was awesome. He was cornered by a guy that had hunted him endlessly, and realized that there was no way out. Instead of struggling till the end, he welcomed his death, knowing full and well that Depth Charge wouldn't survive either. In the end, he still had the last laugh. Literally.

 

I would if some mother fucker would release it in full on DVD here in the UK.

Damn you company who hasn't released it yet, damn you straight to hell! *Shakes fist*

 

Perhaps a mod can clean up this thread for me? I really don't want this thread locked cause I really want to see what everyone thought of who died the coolest way in Beast Wars [the bots on the poll, not any others]

Out of those I'll go with Dinobot.

Vector Prime.

 

Coolest was a tie between G1 and Armada Starscream. Both disintegrated into nothing, both died in a huge energy-blast, and both came back as ghosts.

 

Dinobot's death was damn heroic, but Depth Charge went out like a badass. Depth Charge gets my vote.

 

It's so hard to choose because almost all the deaths in BW were awesome. The only ones I thought were wastes were Quickstrike/ Inferno, TM2 Dinobot and Tigerhawk.

I'll probably give it to Dinobot just because he took out the entire Predacon force...but Depth Charge gets the badass points...he threw aside his duty of protecting lives and killed Rampage out of selfishness.

Never saw Energon, so I can't really comment about Inferno.

 

Armada Starscream.

If you've never seen the episode where Unicron kills him, it's a must see. Actually, if you look at Armada, as bad as it may have been at times, it had some pretty nasty deaths.

 

Agreed. Armada Smokescreen died in a bad way too. He got shot and you could see him melting.

 

If Animated has Scorponok, they should write him the way the Marvel comics wrote him.

 

Well I guess we can call this the "Best Death Thread" Then.....I don't have a problem with everyone discussing other Transformers who got offed.

Perhaps a Mod can help alter the poll cause I can't seem to find how to get that altered.

Anyone ever care to think of how Bumblebee died in the Transformers/Gi Joe Crossover? NOW THAT WAS COOL...KABOOM!!!!!!!

I voted Dinobot, he knew death was coming, tried to avoid following his set path but found that the decisions were his to make right up until the end. (That and I loved his Shakespearian monologues.)

Depth Charge was hardcore, being taunted since arriving by a monster from the past and finally succeeding in destroying Rampage at the cost of his own laugh.

Inferno's death was ok, i would rate it higher but the cg they used in that series is epic fail.

Tigerhawk, I didn't really care, he got killed off too quickly for meto do so, he got brought in 2 episodes before he was killed off ffs.

A couple I would add to the list of awesome deaths.

G1 Optimus Prime, people still well up seeing this and the fight with Megatron was awesome, until hot rod trying to help lost prime the victory (though that final blow against megatron is awesome)

Armada Starscream. He gets the star sabre through him then fires on unicron with his null rays.

it's got to be seen. YouTube - Transformers Armada Starscream vs Galvatron final battle it's better in japanese but it's difficult to find because of all the damned AMVs

 

My thoughts exactly. Armada Screamers death in Cramp is prtty much my favourite scene of all the TF stuff I've seen. I just thought it was incredible. Still watch the episode pretty often...
