-Spoilers for those of you who haven't seen the eps yet.
with the recent Re-Watching of Beast Wars and Energon I've noted a couple of transformers that have pretty much died. And this isn't counting Optimus Prime.

    Here are the candidates-

    First up!

Dinobot- Everyone who's seen "Code of a Hero" Should know his valiant efforts led to his destruction, avoiding stasis lock by deactivating his safety systems...basically he died a warrior.

    Next up-
    Depth Charge-
His death was as every bit epic as Dinobots, dinobot's being more on the emotional side to the Maximals while Depth Charge's death ended his own I guess you can call it Torment since he took out Rampage in that one final fight on the ocean bottom in "Nemesis Part 1"

-Haven't found a video link for these following two...
    Following up-
    Tigerhawk-
Well I'm not too sure about him since he pretty much was introduced the quickly killed off going up against the Nemesis battle fortress. Trying to hold back the energy beam then getting fried...that seemed cool to me but kinda a LAME way to die compared to the previous two bots.

And finally from Energon we have:
Inferno-All around a great character, rather have prefered to die than be a con which he proved and then they ruined him by bringing him back even after he was destroyed.

None of the above, I choose Starcream. It was so horrible, he got to be leader for about 5 sec. before being incinerated (and after all that scheming).

If I had to pick one of yours, I'd say Dinobot. Just becasue he reminded me of a more noble version of Starscram.

Dinobot. Not only did he die a hero, but he biffed *every* Predacon.

Although, I would like to remind everyone of the myriad of ways that Waspinator has been practically killed or very near death. Most of them quite comical.

Yeah....especially the way he used two of the preds, used Inferno as a shield from Black Arachnia's guns, then used poor Waspy and shoved him headfirst into Rampage's cannon barrel.

Still though in the end, Dinobot really just ran out of energy and used the last bit to destroy that golden disk. Sure he went out fighting and PWNING the preds still just doesn't compare to Depth Charge's death. Cause Depth Charge completed his objective in the beast wars....by destroying Rampage in a duel that was almost like those old school sword fights.

I went with Depth Charge for the fulfillment of his vengeance as his last dying act. It was raw, bittersweet tragedy. A personal victory in that he finally eliminated the monster that he had hunted for so long, but tragic because Depth Charge, in the end, just couldn't let go of his personal vendetta for revenge and it cost him his life.

Same reason I voted on Depth Charge too...remember he lost many of his friends to Rampage and pretty much probably got blamed for the lack of security and Colony Omicron where Rampage Escaped.

he probably died very peacefully I think at the end, since he knew he finally destroyed that monster.

Maybe everyone should re-watch it again? Beast Wars was just epic....

Still though It is a rather hard decision between Dinobot and Depth Charge...both were cool as heck and went out in awesome ways.

Now if only Micheal Bay could learn a thing or two about how to kill a Transformer from those two we'd be set.

Can we get an 'other' catagory? Prowl in the '86 movie would be my choice, he burned out from the inside.

This poll = FAIL for not including one of the most poignant deaths in TF history: Scorponok in issue #75 of the G1 Marvel in his feeble and pointless attempt to attack Unicron.

A single blast from Unicron renders Scorponok a slagged, molten heap, and he utters his final words to Prime, "Did I... kuh! ... do good?"

I don't have a heart of stone. My eyes teared up... just a little bit.

I vote for Dinobot. It was the only Transformer death next to prime that made me shed a tear.

Dinobot. He went down in glory. And he saved the entire human race.
