What is the best price you've ever gotten for a TF figure...
Like, something was marked down so low it was just impossible to pass up, etc...

Like, I got Masterpiece Skywarp for $9.99
    o.o

Or, when I got five movie one deluxe classes for ten bucks.

Tell all, what was the best deal you've gotten?

Are you talking retail or otherwise?

Most of my best deals have come from car boot sales e.g. G1 Sludge and Snarl MIB (unapplied stickers even!) for £2.50 each; a loose/mint Sludge (another occasion) at 10p etc. MIB Action Master Prime (came with a truck as I recall) for £5.... man, there have been loads of boot sale finds which have made me smile.

Best RETAIL Transformer-related find... was pleased when Tescos marked all their Deluxe Armada figures down to £2.33 each... Armada Unicron for £9.99... most of the Universe 2.0 Deluxes for £6.49 (half price)...

the deals are out there to be had!

    How long ago was that?

i got the icecream twins for £6, which was nice. also picked up ROTF superion for £12 but he sucks.

i don't generally get awesome deals at retail - if i want something i'll tend to buy it at full price when it first comes out rather than risk missing out.

Either summer of '05 or '06. I was stunned when I found 'em, and tried to keep my nerd-cool when I "casually" asked the guy how much he wanted for them! £3 each, but the bargain-hunter in me knocked him down to a fiver for both (I would've paid £3 each of course, but thought I'd try my luck!)

Retail... snagged Animated Starscream & Wreck-gar for £9.99 last weekend - this follows a LOT of similarly-priced Animated and Universe Voyagers for me recently.

Last year, a shop near me had a ton of Armada VHSs with sealed minicons, at 99p. Bagged me quite a few of those, but now I have a pile of unusable video tapes! :lol

On a sort-of-retail level, I picked up Encore eHobby black Ironhide for £10, and TRU Skids for £8.50, at Auto Assembly last year.

Car boot sales have proven a handy source of bargains too - scored a near-complete RiD Prime for £1.50. :)  Oh, and G1 Topspin for 50p! :D

Best deal ever for me? G1 Sixshot, an original 1987 with 95% of the chrome intact and reasonable sticker wear (nothing to totally worn away to shreds) for only $25. That alone made going to Botcon 2008 totally worth it, and even though tracking down a decently priced pair of guns (which he was missing) is a pain in the ass, I'd much rather track down the guns than have to buy the re-issue for over $70.

I also once bought $90 worth of the 07 Movie TF's (Leader Prime with the gun, Voyager Ironhide, Voyager Starscream, and Deluxe Brawl, all complete and near-mint) for only $20 from a friend. And yes, he knew the value of the toys he was selling, and he really didn't care.

Masterpiece Grimlock for something like 90 USD shipped EMS from Japan, brand new unopened.

Leader Megatron and Bulkhead from Animated for something like 20 USD shipped each, but they were part of a much larger haul.

I have the winner and its not me.

a NTFA board member found a boxed complete mint condition Euro Overlord (brown packing) for 50 or 100 SEK at a flee market. 100 sek is around 15 bucks.

    beat that.
