So, just like the title says, what was your favorite/best car you ever owned?

I've owned several cars over the years, mostly Dodges, a few Chevys and Fords, one Buick.

My current car is a sea foam green 2003 Subaru Legacy and I have to say it's the best car I've ever owned. Power to spare for a car it's size (about 165 HP) it accelerates quick, corners like it's on rails and feels solid as hell. As a matter of fact it's the most "solid" feeling car I've ever owned.

I loved the 1997 Dodge Stratus that I had before my family's insurance company declared it totaled after I got into an accident back in February 2007. How many people can say that they have a purple car?

But I absolutely love my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport -- aka Wildfrost. Definitely the best vehicle I have so far... okay, so it's my second vehicle, and I'm bound to get another car in the future that I think is the absolute greatest, but still...

My 2001 Ford Mustang GT. I had so much fun in that car and ran it into the ground.

I love my 2008 Scion xB. Small looking on the outside, huge on the inside. I'm super comfortable in there, good sound system, good gas mileage...

Worst car I had was a Pontiac Sunfire, my first car. Owned it for about 5 years. Piece of crap is what it was. Developed a hole in the floor, two batteries died (iirc), A transmission failure.. thing fell apart basically. Dad gave me his old lexus which was a year older than mine and traded the sunfire in towards his new lexus. The lexus i got i never had a problem with. The poor experience with the Sunfire made me a loyal toyota family brand man for life. NEVER will I buy american after that piece of slag Sunfire

^^^ Nice. I saw one of those at TRU yesterday. It had the Bumblebee package.

My fav car ever, was a 95 Z28 6-speed. It was two years old when I got it, and had some upgrades. It was fast and fun.

I would say the best car I ever owned was a 1977 Chrysler New Yorker. It had a big block 440 V8.

A 1980 Ford F150 that I owned from age 16 to age 18. Also, coinidentally, the only car I've ever owned and/or driven.

My 1994 Ford Ranger. Only vehicle I've ever had. Parents bout it for me when I turned 16. Favorite color and everything. Had about 32,000 miles on it when they bought it. Now it's 18 years old; 139,000 miles, suspension lift, exhaust work.

Still runs like a champ and I still drive it. Though I think unfortunately my wife and I will be getting rid of it in the next year or so.

    85 Nissan P/U with a Z4 engine(first car)

second would be my 77 El Camino with a 454 engine(7 MPG and a sherman tank)

Sadly both cars were totaled(was hit head on in my truck and the El Camino was parked on my street when some kid flew around the corner going 45 and took out the whole side)

can't really decide. i had 2 cars that were just about the most fun i had without getting naked.

1982 Toyota Corona. Running lights, vinyl top (on the back 1/3) woodgrain interior...it was the most luxurious subcompact i had ever seen. Topped out at 85 mph, but it handled like a sport.

2003 Suzuki Aero (Wagon, not sedan). i never pushed that car as hard as she could go, but i got her over 120mph a few times. Tons of space, digital dashboard, awesome factory sound system. had 40 miles on it when i bought it.

    Worst car:
1982 Buick LeSabre. it was a "gold" color- but when i got it, it had faded to an ugly brown, so we called it "the turd". couldn't do basic maintenance on it, smelled like Menthols, and had the radio with no tape deck- just push buttons that slid the dial up and down.
the horn cover on the steering wheel came off in my lap once as i was making a sharp turn and i ran into a ditch.

The mechanical reliability of my 03 Pontiac Bonneville impressed a former Porsche mechanic.

Unfortunately, the damn thing isn't water tight. Driver door. :(

Worst car: 01 Cadillac Deville. Damn thing blew up.

Currently driving a '96 Pontiac Firebird, only the 3.8 V6 but that is plenty thirsty enough for me.

It's not the most wow car ever, but when you live in the UK it sure turns a lot of heads, I've parked it in London and it gets ore attention than a lot of Porsches and Ferraris which are fairly common in the right parts of the big city.

Of course, paying £1.22 a liter for fuel in the UK isn't helping - that is the equivalent of paying $7 a gallon - but it is still the best car I've ever owned.

Worst car: I break Fords, but I have fun doing it. Broken 3 Mondeos (Scorpio as you know them in the US) and a few crappy 1.1 litre shit pieces.

1988 Mustang GT. I did a complete tear down of the engine and rebuilt it with some "extras". Went from stock 225hp to 275 hp with out dumping in a lot of cash. Fun as hell to drive
