What do you think are the best BW episodes?

So far, I think Code of Hero and Transmutate are pretty amazing.

Yes, definetly. There's one I can't remember that I also really enjoyed.
Transmutate, I did not enjoy. Transmutate was creepy and weird.

Agenda is the best. Code of Hero is fantastic, but Agenda just edges out. Transmutate is another good one, (you cried, don't lie) so are most of the "Other V----" episodes. Aftermath and Coming of the Fuzors is also pretty good, and the best TF series to do the "multiple new toys!" thing well.

They don't start. There's no banging to be had.

If you mean when do they stop making suggestive poses and actions that imply making out: shortly.

I know it's cheesy, but I think my favorite is Dark Designs. If only because it's an unbelievably unbroken chain of mayhem, and the Predacons are just so damaged by it, on mental and emotional levels. Also because I think it's the first direct tie back to G1.

What're the BEST episods? The Agenda, Nemesis, Transmutate, the ones people are saying. I really kind of wish we got Dark Glass.

Code of Hero is an obvious favourite, but Coming of the Fuzors is such a great two-parter. I don't think the good guys being outnumbered was handled as well in any other series. Just seeing Dinobot, Cheetor and Rattrap stepping forward to face their fate was awesome. The Agenda was spectacular, and Nemesis was handled very well, in my opinion.

But there are a few season 1 episodes that are clearly being overlooked. Gorilla Warfare is pure awesome, and Dark Designs was a pretty fun episode to watch too.

What was that one where they're all blinded? That was a good episode.

"Code of Hero" isn't super-great if you take it in isolation - like, you couldn't hand the episode to someone who had not watched any BW and say "OMG look at this it's the reason why Beast Wars is great" in order to convince them to watch it. You need to experience Dinobot's story arc across the series to properly understand and appreciate everything the episode does. "The Agenda"'s great, but again, it's an arc-wrapper-upper that trades HEAVILY on the G1 fanwank. "Transmutate" is a great episode that stands utterly alone, and portrays the two factions with surprising moral greyness - most of the Maximals want to destroy Transmutate, contrary to your standard heroic cartoon character types, while the Predacons are the ones who see a use for her. And while Silverbolt is just playing the "La tee da, lovely lovely life and beauty and such" card like a nice hero, Rampage's role is the fascinating one, legitimately fighting for Transmutate's right to live with no evil ulterior motive, simply seeing a twisted, kindred spirit in it. And the end's pure tragedy. It's hard to beat "Transmutate".

I also thought "Bad Spark" was really neat, if only for how the animation style drew heavily from horror movies.

I'm going to have to rewatch the entirety of Beast Wars. There's so much GOOD about that show.

Gorilla Warfare, Bad Spark, Code of Hero, Transmutate, Deep Metal, all of those were cool, as was the Aftermath-Coming of the Fuzors arc. Bad Spark is the best of the character introduction episodes, since we learn so much about Rampage. Deep Metal also works great as an introduction, because not only do we learn a lot about Depthcharge, he ties into another character, Rampage, creating a potential story arc that was sadly never fulfilled (Nemesis Part 1 wasn't all that good for them, in my opinion).

I haven't thought up an order of preference for them but my favorite episodes are:
    The Agenda
    Code of a Hero
    Nemesis
    Transmutate.
