Bonecrusher is a must. Awesome figure, but his robot mode needs a more detailed paint job, badly. Particularly the face.

And maybe they can kick him up to voyager class while they're at it. (They did it with Megatron back in the Energon line....)

This is irritating. I love repaints and consumer whoring, but I spend so much blood sweat and CASH tracking down nicely painted versions of all the movie characters, including some multiples of Barricade and the Bumblebees. I wouldn't mind buying one or two figures again but man that is ALOT of movie toys to buy.

I figured this was going to happen. That's why I didn't buy any first wave.

Real F-22's from Langley have an incredibly metallic finish. Pure silver wouldn't be far off from some angles.

Now if I can just get a metallic Prime and concept BB...

Great... I just plunked down the cash for Leader Megatron thinking it wouldn't be repainted since Brawl got picked for repainting... I might be the only person in this thread hoping it's a metallic Leader Optimus, considrering the Voyager version already got a metallic treatment at Target and Megatron was already released in this new series.

These variations are getting out of hand, now I'll have to hold out on the Bumblebee battle scene and hope the inevitable metallic version is just as accurate color-wise. (I doubt it'll be the '74 Camaro mold since Takara doesn't like Hasbro copying their limited exclusives)

How do you reckon Brawl would look in metallic?

I'm really hoping for a Leader Prime in this line...I missed the first one, and really don't care for the "Nightwatch" style...

I really hope for a metallic Leader Prime too. Moreover, I hope it's the same metallic paint job as that guy that won 2 "one of a kind" metallic Optimuses in a contest.

I would say a leader-class Megatron is the most likely, along with Bumblebee and Jazz (who'll probably get his FB weapon included).

Megatron hasn't got a show-accurate paintjob, and no mass-retail release has had a repaint close to that (Best Buy being an exclusive, obviously). I would say he'd be a perfect canditate.

08 Bumblebee is a natural choice since he's a shiny and new Camaro, and one of the most desired TF toys of late.

Jazz had a really dull paint on his first release, a nice shiny silver would wonders.

Starscream is also a crowd-pleaser so I would think he's more likely to get done more than Ironhide, or Prime.

Considering it said all of these would have the same packaging style as Megatron and Ratchet, I'd say all of them are going to be store-exclusives, not mass retail. And considering having two like-styled Megatrons might diminish value of the first (or make the second undesirable since the smaller one was less expensive and still got the accurate colors) maybe Megatron isn't such a perfect candidate.

    True.

However, from what I gather, Best Buy is not as widespread as say, WalMart and Target are in the US? I mean I don't get any 3 of those chains here in NZ, all we get is K-Mart and I believe that's run differently than it is in the US. If the release for these figures is indeed 2008, then the repaint Ice Megs would be long gone, and I would assume that a larger toy store would get an exclusive Leader Megs, available to a different set of customers. Who knows. I guess it's a waiting game to see who gets released and where.

The only movie figures I bought were Deluxe Jazz & Bumblebee '08, Voyager Ratchet & Ironhide and Leader Prime *because* there was no sign of a correctly painted version of Leader Megatron. If that finally happens, then I'll pick it up and probably consider getting the remaining Con's as well. Don't know if I'd re-buy the Autobots though - not unless they look absolutely amazing.

First thing I thought was: Please release Lawson's Exclusive BB. I didn't want to pay $30 (or more) for it the first time it came out.
