Kinda to go along with the best joker thread, here we can discuss who portrayed batman the best..
Just kidding.. Kevin Conroy.
Worst? George Clooney
Kevin Conroy. Don't even have to think about it.
Kevin Conroy for voice.
Least favorite would be the dude who was in the last 2 batman movies.
Animated series batman.
Are we talking character or voice?
with Adam West as runner up
Kevin Conroy all around.
Conroy, hands down.
When Batman gets throat cancer, then he'll be getting a gold medal. Until then...
I love Christian Bale's Batman. He sounds like Clint in a way and that is awsome.
I don't get why all the hate for Christian bale. Sure he may not be the best batman, but I don't think he's the worst. George clooney was definitely the worst.
Where is Christian Bale? His Batmas isnt bad, for me its better than Clooney's and Kilmer's.
My ranking would be:
-Adam West: Batman a go-go, Baby! XD
-Bale. No reason, i just do. ^^
-Keaton. Te guy is funny XD
Has to be Keaton, Bale was good in 'Begins' but fell short in 'Knight' - which, really should have been called 'Joker' - thats all anyone cared about.
Who is Kevin Conroy?
Batman: The Animated Series? Justice League: Unlimited? Batman: Arkham Asylum?
Any of those ring a bell?
Bale should have left the growl out.
I'd rather have the growl than clooney's bat nipples
I'd rather have the nipples over a Batman that sounds like an idiot.
He probably would have been a much better Batman if he didn't growl every time he spoke.
I get he's an intimidating character, but seriously....
so schwimmer > nolan ?
I don't get it. voice is not an issue at all for me, but of course, if I had to choose, it would have to be kevin conroy. bottom line... bale is not bad, that's all I'm gonna say
Keaton made a good Batman, but he didn't strike me too well as Bruce
Bale makes a decent Bruce, but he completely fumbled Batman on the voice alone.
Kevin Conroy. One of my all time favorite Bat-moments is when Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne are talking with Lois Lane at the Daily Planet. When Lois leaves Clark says something to Bruce about the case they're working on. The next time Bruce speaks even though he's not in costume he speaks as Batman. That's something you can't pull off in the comics and shows that Batman is the not the disguise. Bruce Wayne is.
Nope. Never watched them that I can remember. So he's a voice actor?
How can you compare a voice actor's performance with live action?
Two totally different types of acting.
Shouldn't there be a seperate question for the animated voice over cast? It was the same with the Joker thread and Mark Hamill. The only reason I knew he did the Joker's voice cos its on the 'Spider-man' DVD bios. In the 'Spider-man' animated show he voices Hobgoblin.
I think Bale came across - IMO - as a Dirty Harry Batman. More so in 'Knight'.
Separate names with a comma.
