This thread is almost pointless. B:TAS is going to fucking dominate.

Either way, Batman: The Animated Series.

Batman: The Animated Series is pure, unadulterated sex. No DC series has topped it since.

Batman Beyond deserves a mention for being awesome, and a drastic departure from classic Batman.

batman the animated series for sure, followed by the adam west one, mainly because it is so over the top, and some of the villains are either well thought up, or cheesy as hell! :lol

I'm enjoying the West reruns on UK TV (which have paused for cricket?), but my vote has to go with Batman Beyond.

TAS was awesome, but I felt it had... restrictions on where they could go. Batman Beyond could do what it liked, how it liked. Its a damn shame it got canned early in favour of Justice League Animated.

    Ah well.

BTAS, with Batman Beyond a close second.

Going against the grain here, but I consider the Adam West series an utter embarrassment.

Bear in mind though, TAS ran for years and years to gain your affection, BB only ran for 3? And if it wasn't for Warner Brothers forcing in Justice League who know how many years it would have run for?

Also a lot of the TAS episodes are... meh, groundbreaking for the time, but they haven't aged well. Batman Beyond is still as awesome today as it was years ago.

    IMO.

Also, cantankerous old man Wayne is far more awesomer than Young Wayne/Batman...

Why bother Everyone will say the same thing.

I really can't say it though. I haven't seen enough of the show. I keep forgetting when it's on tv or it's on very late.

    TAS.

Though I think the New Batman Adventures option shouldn't have been added, since it's essentially another season of TAS. It was even released on DVD as TAS.

Since TAS is..... obvious, I'm going to say The Brave and The Bold. Absurd amounts of fanwankery, C-/D-/Z-List heroes and villains getting time in the spotlight, a refreshing campy take on the brand (dark and brooding is grand and all, but we've had that fairly consistently for quite some time now), yet shockingly able to handle DEATH seriously.

Why? It's just as good as TAS, just a different art style. Some of the better episodes are from it. (Mad Love, Over the Edge, Old wounds)
