For me...the Herot in Muncie, In. REALLY old...all wood tables and stools. Lots of cool medival stuff on the walls. High ceiling. bout 30 beers on tap...NO BUD OR MILLER! Tons of imports...good times...
Been their..the waitresses are bitches...not a good beer on the menu...some stupid mailman tried to spark a conversation with me about the crusades...fuking dumbass...I also closed the bar down with some awesome fat guy...kept bitching about his wife...
Depends on my mood. For example, Tuesday night is Bears (where I just came from, somewhat drunk, I must be an alcoholic!). Lot of hot broads, even got a kiss from the one I want. Wednesdays and Thursdays is Cactus Canyon. They suck for playing edited music but there are a ton of hot broads because of the drinks. Shit, I was *this* close tonight. Damn the circumstances. And for all of those who preach that anyone who goes out is an alcoholic, check this post for spelling and see how I did. Bitches.
I used to like going to a couple of Karaoke bars around here, Hudson's or Red Door. Having a few drinks and getting up and having fun singing badly was a good way to break the ice and meet women. Although I can't go out and meet women anymore, or my fiancee would kill me. So I just usually go to Bullwackers because they have a lot of pool tables, or the Sport's Page when I'm in the mood for a quiet night.
Holy crap, what are you doing there? I grew up in Muncie, I thought I was the only one who lived there at one time who knew what the internet was.
There are thousands of great Pubs in Britain and a selection of good bars. I personally like the Black Bull, near me in Essex. a 16th century oak beamed Tudor building. Real cask ales, proper pub food, a dart board, that beery smell and a great atmosphere. Not a fucking fruit machine in sight. Also a lack of women. Although they obviously make bars great places to hang out, they seem to have the opposite effect on pubs.
You'll have to make two stops then. Cheers Beacon Hill (née the Bull & Finch Pub) was the bar used for the exterior shots. The inside looks nothing like the one seen on TV, however, they have a branch in Faneuil Hall Marketplace, called Cheers Faneuil Hall, which faithfully recreates the iconic interior.
I have a few favourite spots. Which reminds me, I agreed to take someone to one of them. Now if we can just get him to stop with the Kirk style posting.
Unfortunatly, no. Maybe next time you are over. Not exactly..... Just someone I have to call when I'm less busy.
