Activators is probably more in scale, if that bothers you. And the colour matching is better than on the Deluxe. That said, I like both of them. And the Legends figure.

That didn't help much, did it?

Activators. I don't like the Deluxe version much; it's my least favorite Animated toy (that I own).

Undecided, waiting to see how Hyrdodive is size wise when compared to the deluxe.

Deluxe for me. Activator is cool, but it doesn't hold my interest for long periods of time, unlike the Deluxe. Then again, I did the stinger mod to mine and added extra paint apps to it to make him pop. I didn't have an un-modded Deluxe BB and Act. BB to compare fairly.

deluxe is one of my least favorite animated figures.. it so clumsy and always ends up looking awkward... activators is awesome, its my favorite animated BB by far, and its really a fun figure.. is it true that the hydrodive BB cancelled?

I really like elite guard bumblebee. I know he is not show accurate as far as colors, but his colors make him awesome. I have bothe the regular deluxe and activators, and activators is probably the better of the two as far as scale goes, but i like deluxe sized toys better. It is true that i'm being no help at all on this, but i would buy elite guard bumblebee. He is the best as far as I'm concerned.

And as far as a cancelled hydrodrive bumblebee, i'm not too sure. Right around the time we heard rumors of that, we also heard rumors that walmarts and targets were not going to carry animated anymore. It's true that deluxes are hard to find at target, but they still have large amounts of leaders, safeguards, and voyagers. And walmart are still stocking everything. So I beleive everything are just rumors at this point. And more than likely we'll see more animated after the movie rush is over. Just to put out a few characters from season three. my 2 cents.

Activators for me. The head sculpt is amazing and I love the yellow plastic used. The deluxe is rad too, but he is just way too big to stand on the shelf with the other figures.

Activators gets my vote...the deluxe version is ok except for his large size and clown feet...

Activators BB poses very well with leader Bulkhead... :thumbs2:

    LOL.

I had a dream last night that there was a way to make Activators B's arms look decent.

    How strange.

I have to say that I prefer the Deluxe as a display piece, but the Activator is better as an actual toy.

The Deluxe version looks a lot better if you take the windshield bits off of his legs in bot mode, which also frees up his ankle joints. However, his colors are horribly mismatched in car mode, and he only really has one pose he can pull off well as a bot.

The Activator is a lot of fun to play with, and is very posable, but his arms are rather silly looking. His vehicle mode is leaps and bounds ahead of the Deluxe, and it's cast in a much nicer yellow shade. His eyes are one of the only times that Allspark Blue paint has ever made sense, and he even has a neck joint. He's the best aspects of the Classics Bumblebee in a cute, self-transforming package.

The Legends class one is nice for its size, but he's hard to find and really simplistic. As for the Power Bots Bumblebee, it's a shelf-warming abomination that should never have been made.
