Hi guys. I'm wanting to replace my factory packed headset. I've looked at Skullcandy, Turtle Island, Plantronics, and I don't know who all eles. What do you guys use, and do you like it? Thanks!

I've got a Turtle Beach X3 and I love it. Super comfortable and nice sound quality. It's a bit on the expensive side as it is cordless from the television/console, though it still needs to be attached to the controller to use the mic.

Wow. No more comments? I figured I'd get comments about the Skullcandy headsets and the MS wireless headset, too. No opinions? Everybody just use the one that came with it except Sidewayz?

I don't own Turtle beaches, but they are a really well known company in this generation. Take a look at the X3 or even the newer X4.

I own the MS wireless headset and I love it. It will definetely irritate your ear for the first hour or so but after that it's quite comfortable and has a good battery life. I think it's about 3 hours to charge and lasts about 6-7 hours of use.

I use the Microsoft wireless one and love it except for the sensitivity to surrounding noises.

The wired one is a piece of crap.

I still use the one that came with my 360. It's held in two places with electrical tape, but still works, if I keep forgetting to check the volume dial.

I have the Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 and love everything about it except the crazy number of wires involved.

I don't know about that. I'm still using the one that came with my 360 when I got it almost 3 years ago. It's comfortable and the sound quality is fine. It's definitely leaps and bounds better than the original Xbox's standard mic. That thing was flimsy as hell.
