Why are some of you clamoring for a figure with just the character's name? There've been a couple "I don't care if they smack a generic van body on him, just so we get a Hooligan". I don't get it. About the only interesting thing about that character is his friggin alt-mode. A VW bus Decepticon is rad. I want a toy of that, not a box with a name on it.

Stinger almost happened, but Walmart dropped the ball and it never made it past the prototype stage. Which sucks, I want a real Pagani Stinger.

    Well I'll be damned.

Lol. I would bet against it. Humans get center stage. Not the robots.

What are the chances that Dread Suburban was just a reused prop that got modified into one of Cemetery Wind's Suburbans?

EDIT: There were also Suburbans in KSI's China factory.

So are Hooligan and Berserker two different characters? Because I'm pretty sure Hooligan is the rusty VW van and you can see the rusty parts on him in the trailer. However I've never seen this guy or his alt-mode.

EDIT: Are you sure that's his alt-mode? (The suburban pictured above)

Could be. They'd still have at least two other identical Suburbans left to use as future Dreads now.

Hooligan is indeed the VW Van, according to press releases. And Berserker is also indeed the Chevy Suburban - his toy wouldn't transform into one otherwise.

The discussion that's going on is about whether or not the Dread we know as Berserker eventually became Hooligan because the VW Van was said to be a late addition, and the hypothetical change was too late for HasTak to stop designing toys in Berserker's design and start from scratch for Hooligan. So far, it could go either way.

I don't have high hopes for Hooligan being different from Berserker (and getting his own toy). The only reason I am not totally convinced they are the same is Hooligan appears to use the Crowbar base model, not the Crankcase one like Berserker. Even if the vehicle was a late change, I would think the base robot would stay the same.

Megatron took the bodies of Crankcase and Crowbar, used what little transformium he had left, and rebirths them as Berserker and Dreadbot. At least, that's what it seems like to me.

    Ebay:
That vehicle was briefly seen in the film

No. They used Escalades for Cemetery Wind (with the exception of the actual vehicle that crashes into the tree. That was a blacked out, dressed up Suburban. No it wasn't the Dreads because it wasn't lifted or had anything else similar).

There were no Suburbans in the KSI factory. You are mistaken for the Trax.

I believe they have just the one. It would appear the highway sign/ramp stunt from DOTM damaged the two vehicles that drove that day.

Well, Hatchet's head was blown off, and it is said in AOE that MOST cybertronians were scrapped for Transformium. However, since Crankcase and Crowbar were 'demolished' in Chicago, they could have been left there. There WERE still transformer corpses there in TLK, and Megatron was there. He tracked there bodies down and rebuilt them. Megatron was Galvatron at the time, and went to Quintessa for a new body. The rest is history.
