Toy packaging? A two-pack, perhaps?
It hasn't been widely reported but, yep, toy packaging. The Decepticons actually have Berserker, Megatron, and Barricade on the top flap instead of Bumblebee, Optimus, and Drift.
That's pretty cool, if you ask me.
Is that pincer-shaped thing a weapon on his back, or part of his shoulder?
Back up Bob Marley, who do you think you are? Starscream? Go stand with the other fodder.
The price to pay for killing off Soundwave and Starscream in DOTM...
I doubt berserker will play a big role in the film but im curious to know his role and why he looks like cybertronian version of crankcase.
Huh, the red X is screen-accurate then.
He's not a Cybertronian version of Crankcase, he's just Crankcase with a big red X on his chest.
Yeah, nice clear shot of it from this review:
Well would you mind pointing out any vehicle parts on the CGI model please? Cause frankly i dont see any. As many have pounted out before, berserker might be based off of the cybertronian version of crankcase used in the dotm video game and concept art. Also hasbro is known for giving characters vehicle modes even if they have none in the film. Examples: shockwave, the fallen. Im not saying he wont have a vehicle mode, but unlike crankase who you could see his lights, wheels and black suburban parts, all im seeing is bronze and siver on Berserkers model.
Edit: i think i might see a wheel i cant tell.
I've never seen a good shot of it before. Thanks!
Crankcase was a design that didn't have much vehicle parts to begin with. All I can recall are the front of the car on his chest (which gets covered I believe), wheels in his calves, and tail lights in his calves.
But Crankcases's model has barely any visible alt mode parts on it either, that's my point. He has, IIRC, tires on his elbows and lights on his shoulders, both of which are obscured in this pose. There were no other obvious black suburban parts on his body, and the lighting could simply be off in this picture as both Megs and Barricade have an orange-yellow light being cast on them.
Shockwave and the Fallen weren't based on models with Earth modes, though. And they had Cybertronian modes in the toyline, not Earth modes.
I know we saw a head of sorts.... But are we sure that we saw his vehicle in filming?
If he's just a toy-exclusive character then I got to wonder why.
His alt-mode was seen multiple times during filming.
I want more Decepticon toys than this.
I always see people talk about a Berserker/Crankcase head and Dread SUV being seen on set, but I've never been able to find pictures. Can anybody link some?
His alt mode was seen on set and I remember seeing a picture of it but I can locate where the photo is.
