I don't have a DVR, and I don't like Ben 10. So it looks like I'm set then. *sarcasm*

Sorry, I'm just not a person who likes Ben 10...or any other programming on Cartoon Network (excluding the Adult Swim lineup).

It's a live-action adaptation of a cartoon show on Cartoon Network. It's the second live-action Cartoon Network movie, and to me, it might suck, just like Reanimated. And we all know how shitty THAT movie was.

Live-Action Ben 10? Sounds wierd, I wonder how that'll work. How long is it?

Re-Animated was pure trash, but this movie looks like it will be good.

I hate live action on Cartoon Network, but for some reason I can abide this one.

I think it may be 90 minutes.

And I just got to watching it (because I have nothing better to do tonight), and already Ben's transformation to Grey Matter was...awkward.

I watched it.. It was ok. The CGI aliens were ok for a small cable TV movie budget. Well most anyway. Diamondhead was great, Heatblast and Grey matter were good, but Wildmutt looked way too fake. Villain just came off as a crappy power rangers bad guy. The hippy parents were morons. (also how I view most of California...)

I wasn't that impressed. They had some decent actors, but they didn't act all that well.

For what it was, it was good, not great, but good. Hopefully we'll get a sequel with a bigger budget, better story, and more aliens.

i hope we get a new season, personally i like this show.

but this live action version just did not go over well with me lol. it was just not very interesting to me.

i mean it was ok, for what it was, but, cartoon network should stick to what they do best, animation.

live action versions never live up to what they are based on i know, but maybe i just got spoiled with, batman begins, and transformers and such.

on the other hand it is much better then i thought it'd be.

the action was ok, the acting how ever, was pretty bad, especially glenn's little speech thing at the end.

all in all, i give the movie a 3 out of 5, it was entertaining, but the not nearly as good as it's source.

how ever the ben10 marathon was great!

Exactly how I thought he looked. As soon as I saw him, I couldn't help but hum the Power Rangers theme song.

The acting was horrid, the transformations were just low budget, and the whole movie was a big "fuck you" to the fans, IMO. Alex Winter as the director was just a bad idea. In fact, the idea of a Ben 10 live action movie was bad itself. It's about as shitty as Reanimated.

    Irony.

Ben 10 goes from animated to live-action, and Power Rangers goes from live-action to animated.

Where did you hear that? Isn't that just a rumor still?

Not anymore. Soon Cartoon Network will change its name to "We can't draw shit, so we use either crappy cartoons, cartoons imported from Canada, or really crappy live-action shows" Network.

Not for much longer if the guy in charge has anything to say. Adult swim and most of the shows on the network are quickly becoming crap. If this keeps up it'll take a miracle to save it. Their putting too much effort into crap like live action Ben 10 and reanimated(because it worked for disney) They need to produce more shows like animated Ben 10/ venture Bros instead. Their about to lose futurerama which is one of the show that gets consistant ratings. Heck even re-running Jlu, or old cartoons would get better ratings.

At this point they want to spend very little money on the network so the executives can pad their bank accounts and it shows. I can barely even watch adult swim anymore. Heck I'd rather watch reruns of Sealab or the brack show than Tim and crap, Saul the jerk, or the makes absolutely no sense Xavier. Remember when adult swim was funny?
