Love this guy, love his colour, and am so happy I bought him all those years ago with Leo Convoy. I did a gallery of him on my blog for those who want to see more.

Yeah great bot mode. Shame that his ALT modes are rather unexciting.

I love this guy. One of my favorite dragon toys.

    -Tony!
Says that about most of his dragon toys.

I've always liked this guy. Axes for melee weapons, chainguns in the knees, creepy pointy insect wings, marble in the chest, and vibrant color scheme all make for an enjoyable Destron.

Ahh yes, BW2 Galvatron. Pretty nice toy eh? I remember back in the day my Japanese penpal sent me one for Christmas, it was awsome. Never heard from her after the Kobe earthquake though... jeez, I hope nothing happened to her.

But nice find! This guy has a lot of sentimental value for me.

Dude... where in the name of Paris Hilton's herpes infested vagina have you been?!

WTF are you talking about!! Best drill tank (with SPINNING drill) and best dragon (with FLAPPING wings) ever!!! 2 well integrated gimmicks, 3 modes, killer weapons and it's Galvatron. Heaven.

I dont particularly like the dragon (it's no Cryotek or Flame Convoy) but the drill mode is impressive enough

LOL!! I lurk now and only post such insightful things as "knee guns!" every now and again. I'm still around regularly though. :)

Back on topic, I remember waffling for a really long time before finally picking up a Galvatron when they were really on the cheap and I never regretted it a bit. I find that because of his colours and details, pics make him look strange whereas when you have him in person he is an excellent toy. If anyone is on the fence about him, get him! I think he can still be had quite cheaply; lots of Korean versions still around I'd imagine...

    Cheers!
    Sush.

Thanks for the love guys :)

I think that, like Sushi said, Galvatron is waaaay underpriced for what you get. He is bulky, pretty (not sure if that is good for a Destron but what can you do?), and just simply awesome. I got him in a set with Leo Convoy. I love LC, but he doesn't hold a candle to Galvatron's majesty.

Its too bad he didn't get released over here during the Universe series; I still think he would've made a better Deathsaurus than RID Megatron (the BotCon exclusive.)
