Cool, but I have to ask, what kind of name is "Tinker" for an Air Force Base?

It's named after a Major General from Oklahoma (where the base is...assuming there aren't two Tinker's). It's the main headquarters for the nation's AWACS. Guess since they filmed one, the guys at Tinker got to...fly it wherever. Pretty cool.

Alright, that makes sense now. It just seemed like "Tinker" was a far too cutesy name for a military base, and so I couldn't help but find it a tad funny.

No offense to anybody who happens to be stationed there.

Just something to keep in mind for future references. Many military bases are named after people, that's where we get some of the wierder names.

Heh! :)  Sad, but true... ACtually I'm more upset when I look at the head of Barricade I have as my wallpaper. I can't help it, that bot body is incredible, it's how all the other cars should look like, but the head reminds me of what could have happened if Waspinator was attacked by a facehugger (as far as I know, Aliens adopt some of the morphology of the life-forms they hatch out of).

Yesterday someone wants to have Bay assassinated, today Bay is akin to Hitler, all because he didn't make the robots look like toys.

    Words fail me.

Would hyperbole be taken into account if a member of this forum called another member Hitler, or asked what it would cost to have that other member assassinated?
