Well its been a long time since I have posted anything. But thanks to a few friends, Plowking, Frenzy-Rumble, and Ptitvite I have been brought back. Here is a WIP pics of PM Prime revamped with Classics Prime and alot more articulation.

And after making a Devastator Like FR's, I am now making a Menasor like FR's. Great inspiration.
Also (not pictured) Thanks to Ptitvite, I am on my third articulated G1 Insecticon. I will post pics of them when they are done.
And the purple figure is a classics cyclonus, like Jins.

You and I are on the same brainwave.

I was just thinking the other day of taking my spare Classics Prime and turning him into PMOP.

brilliant idea, was there a lot of modding needed on classic prime?

it would definately beat the hell out of the ultra magnus upgrade kit!!

Hey I started this project to but I couldn't get Classics prime in there so I just decided to use the smaller one. Would you be so kind as to inform us how you pulled that off?

I also would like to know how you got classics prime to fit. Did you mod the trailer, the figure, or both?

I'd be interested as well, just as an idea starting point.

I plan on scratch building my PM trailer from styrene and try to match the asthetic of the Classics figures.

Sorry, no update yet. Still drilling him. He is actually a commission I making for a guy in australia. He bought some of my customs off ebay, and emailed me one day for a poseable Power Master Prime. So I threw him some ideas and voila.

As for some of your questions.

Classics Prime mod. - I had to remove hi lower legs at the waist. The reattach by means of a neo-shiffters peg. And this does not affect transformation or mobility. He still swivels at the waist, transforms to truch and robot modes.

And yes I had to mod trailer so classic prime would fit in. He can fit in without the legs but it is real tight. So I had to shave down the front sides of the trailer where prime slides in, so now he is nice and snug.

As for other things to come on him. I am currently modding the head to sit on a balljoint. And I am trying to get Masterpiece Primes face plate on PM Primes faceplate. I am planning to chop him in half so that PM prime will swivel at the waist. And I have to scratchbuild parts for the trailer panels to be longer for trailer mode.

Its like a Reeses Peanut Butter cup....all my favorite Optimus Primes smashed together. I always wondered how Classics would look attached to PM.

I could definitely see the scratchbuilt for the panels....I wish you luck on that, with all the grooves, that could be a pain.

This could be a shot in the dark, but since you mentioned Classics Prime's legs having to be part of a neoshifters pegs, what about using the individual legs when not attached as shoulder cannons ala PM primes original guns? Just a thought, but with the flip up knees, that could be a possible option for transforming hand/shoulder pegs right there. and that back end PM skirt would work very well as a shield.

I'll stop talking now....... Good luck and I can't wait for the finished product.
