    I had the version 1 of this set sitting in my PoL and when the version 2 preorder was announced, I sent an e-mail to BBTS asking if I could exchange version 1 with 2. They obliged, so I'm happy with how that turned out. I'm patient and can wait a little longer for my PoL to ship.

    Have you tried contacting the retaileryou purchased from to see about an exchange? It doesn't say anywhere in the description of the kit that this set will be completely painted. The paint is not that resistant to scratching and rubs easily. They may allow you to exchange it.

    Awesome news. Makes me feel like I bought a piece of shit. And I thought the only issue was the shoulder clip on one side was loose because I made the hole bigger with the iGear shoulder missile launcher.

    I need to boo this move, specifically because it came about so quickly.

    Well my set is coming from UPS tomorrow, so I can't wait to see how it looks and if its shoddy than I might either fix it or send it back for a refund or store credit, but who knows.

    I don't think it was reported, but Beelzeboss posted some pictures of version 2 of their Heroic Duo on their blog. Due out second quarter of 2013.

    Yes it was reported. And this thing's been out since last year at RK. I have it. And yes, it's the second version. BBTS was unfortunate to have received the first version and some people got that.

    I don’t know what all I have left, and I painted Red Alert’s visor white to match his comic look, but I can dig mine up tonight and see what all is there..

    Certainly. I for sure sold off my Sideswipe, though; so his parts are gone.
