This is a little troubling for me, I have never been ill so many times like this before and in such a short time. It just seems like I'll be sick for about a week, then recover, then get sick again. My fever hasn't spiked over 100 and I don't feel -that- bad when I'm sick. I just cough, get a headache and spit out gallons of snot (eww). I think that I'm just getting a cold, but is it possible to get 3 of them in such a short time? Could it be also possible that it's been the same illness I've had but it laid dormant for a little while? I should go see a doctor for this, I just can't do it right now though and want to hear what you guys think.
I've had the same thing for about a week. Not overly sick, but snot, cough, and sore throat for the most of it. One day I'll feel like I'm better, and the next it'll sorta return.
I work in health care so I can safely say.. see a doctor. There is a wicked upper respiratory infection sweeping through. I was down for a a week and a half on 2 strong antibiotics.
Yep. Upper Respiratory Infection. A friend of mine had several family members with it, and it just lingers and lingers, and when they think it's over, the next day *WHAM* it comes back and just sticks around. They ended up needing strong antibiotics to fight it, because it started an ear infection in one of the granddaughters. A really nasty one, actually. Poor thing's been miserable for the better part of three weeks. Go get it checked out before it gets worse, my friend's mother did and she ended up letting her Bronchitis get out of control. She was actually hospitalized because the infection had become so bad. Started out with the same symptoms as you, actually. It's just a whole hell of a lot smarter to go get checked out.
2 weeks ago i had a bad temp a cough and snot! I never lost the cough I still have it. Its this shitty weather hampering the getting well part.
Alot of times and infection will accompany the common cold. You think you have a cold, but you'll actually have a sinus infection or an ear infection as well. And you son't realize it cause you thinks it's just a cold. I've had a headache and a sore jaw and teeth for a month now, I was getting nervous then i realized i was grinding my teeth at night. So I'm all better. Hopefully the sicks season will end soon and everyone can go back to normal.
Even if you elect not to go to a doctor, its pretty obvious your immune system needs some support. You should start chugging the Vit C. I'd recommend getting something from your local organic store, as they usually have better, standardized, digestible capsules than Walmart does, and you need quality as well as quantity. When I had a nasty headcold last month, I also used some other herbs which stopped it from becoming a nasty chest cold, but at least you should do the C. --Moony
You might want to eat more fruits and vegetables. Citrus would be the way to go to try to boost your immune system.
Its funny. I finally have health insurance, but I really haven't gotten sick this year. Last year, I had no insurance, but was sick alot. Good thing my mother in law is a nurse.
