Should of them aka Roberto Orci - Executive Producer Alex Kurtzman - Executive Producer Give Bee a talking role in Prime or just keep it like in the films.? Or Just odd words with the radio as the main communication device.. Or would it be down To the likes of Susan Blu to make the call about him talking in Prime.?
Su Blu is sadly not on the team. She had to leave due to family maters. I can't recall who took her place. But over all, I'm ok with Bee's "R2" voice. But I would like to see them address it at some point in the series.
i'd prefer to have him talk, it was annoying with the movie bee and annoying with the minicons in Armada, i don't think it should be the characteristic of the character, maybe if he was forced to talk through his communicator I'd accept it more but Ratchet quite obviously doesn't make a very good medic if he can't figure some way to repair or replace his voice unit.
Well as I've always assumed a voice box is probably a lot more difficult to repair then most damages. Also, the show has kind of set it up that they dont have the resources they need, and are basically making ends meet. If the show at least addresses it this way, then I'm fine with it.
Exactly, Ratchet hasn't got enough energon to give Bumblebee a new mouth. Besides Raf can translate for him (how exactly I wonder of course, Bee doesn't sound like he's using Morse corde) and in Exodus it was said he could speak from time to time, so hopefully he will.
He should be able to talk. I think the only ones that should be able to make noise like that are drones or lower class bots like minicons. Having bb not talk sort of downgrades his importance. May not be the intentions of the writers.
I don't think it's a case of broken speakers. I'd imagine a Cybertronain's voice processor is probably a lot more complicated. And it's cheap, btw. Yeah, that only bugs me slightly. I know they are trying to push the idea is Raph is a computer wiz, so that may be why, but they really need to explain it just a little more. I'd be ok with just one little scene: Jack: "You understand that?" Raph: "It's binary code...What, you can't?"
