    BECCA'S CLUSTERF- COLLECTION

Whilst I've been a Bayformers fan since 2007, I got into collecting Transformers properly in June of last year, when I caved and bought a Universe 2.0 Starscream after watching the '86 movie for the first time on PSP UMD. Since then I've bought a lot more and expanded into G1 and TFA, and for my 22nd birthday this year my parents bought me two Ikea Detolf cabinets and some awesome retro 60's shelves to help me display them all. :)  I don't think I have a particularly enviable collection, but I love it anyway.

    TRANSFORMERS: ANIMATED

These retro shelves are kept on the west wall of my bedroom. They're from B&Q, but I dunno if they're being sold any more. I have pretty much almost all of the characters who have been released as toys, apart from Lockdown (en route), Cliffjumper and Dirge.

Upper Shelf, Part One. L2R: Snarl, Grimlock, Swoop, Activator Grimlock, Blurr, Longarm Prime, Battle Begins Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime, Ironhide, Rodimus Minor, Blackout.

Upper Shelf, Part Two. L2R: Cybertronian Ratchet, Arcee, Elite Guard Prowl, Wingblade Optimus Prime, Samurai Prowl.

Upper Shelf, Part Three. L2R: Shockwave, Soundwave, Blitzwing, Battle Begins Megatron.

Lower Shelf, Part One. L2R: Voyager Megatron, Prowl, Jazz, Wreck-Gar, Jetfire, Legends Optimus Prime, Jetstorm, Atomic Lugnut, Custom Wasp (made from an Activators Bumblebee, by me), Activators Bumblebee, Activators Thundercracker.

Lower Shelf, Part Two. L2R: Activator Ratchet, Activator Soundwave, Activator Megatron, Skywarp, Starscream, Blackarachnia, Waspinator, Activators Thundercracker (broken; has no head), Activators Optimus Prime, Oil Slick, Ratchet, Swindle, Bulkhead, Bumblebee.

My Leader Class Ultra Magnus and Leader Class Megatron are kept on top of my Detolfs, which are pictured below. :)

STILL NEEDED: Stealth Lockdown, Activators Lockdown, Lugnut (normal colourscheme), Activators Cliffjumper, Activators Dirge, Elite Guard Bumblebee, Elite Guard Optimus Prime, Leader Class Bulkhead, Leader Class Optimus Prime.

DETOLFS: G1, CHUG AND BAYVERSE TRANSFORMERS

These are Detolf cabinets from Ikea. They sit on the north wall of my room, opposite my desk. So it's a nice view to look at when I'm working on my models or applying for jobs. :)

Thanks for the compliments, guys! =) I'm really happy that I can finally display my figures as I want. Before, they were either in boxes or in whichever flat surface had an inch of room. =(

Sure! My room's a basic rectangle with a little recess for the door. The walls are lime green wallpaper, and the floor's an emerald green carpet. I love bright colours and having lots of things to look at, so I try to keep it jammed with stuff at all times. It drives my Mum to distraction, but Dad wanders in sometimes just so he can have a look around. :)

View from the door, straight ahead. I keep a lot of practical things like make-up and clothing accessories under my bed.

View from the door, left. My desk, my cabinets, and my Billy bookcase. As you can no doubt see from my desk, I'm a sucker for cutting things out. The TV at the end of my bed is hooked up to my XBOX 360.

The wardrobe situation we solved with a clever idea of my Mum's. Between my room and their room is an old, disused airing cupboard. It was basically falling apart and hadn't been used in years. So what we did was, put a new floor and ceiling in it, then knock through my wall (which was plasterboard, stupid 70's houses) and create a frame. My godfather's self-employed and was able to fix this up in an afternoon. Then we painted the frame and the door to match, grabbed some shelves and rails from B&Q and a bead curtain from Amazon, and viola! Instawardrobe. This saved a lot of space within the room itself and allowed for me to have my Detolfs. :)

Here are some pictures of the process if anybody is thinking of doing something similar:

    [IMG][IMG]
    =
    [IMG]

The rest of my stuff (books, DVDs, CDs) occupy my shelves. :3

All of my CDs and my favourite DVDs are kept above my Animated shelf.
    Billy & Strafe. :D
    [IMG]
Shelves above my end of bed/television.
And just a closer detail on the stuff around my bed. The Batman canvas is from TK Maxx, the poster is from eBay and the smaller poster is from an M&S greetings card. The drawn picture of Pariah from DC comics was a commission from dA.

    Hope this helped :)

I LOVE the fact that the Bayformers fandom can discover G1 and fall in love with it like we did as kids! This is an awesome collection, and I love your Ikea cases and retro shelf! My wife won't let me have any sort of display like that out in the open, haha... Gotta wait until I have a man-cave of my own someday.

And if you wouldn't mind, could you do a full photoshoot of the Custom "Mad Max Megatron" created by rmgoody08? Love it! It is so awesome looking, and very much apropos to the upcoming DOTM Megatron.

    Thanks for posting your collection!

Your room is super awesome, and you've gotten your collection displayed very nicely! I especially like the customs (I hope you have threads for each in Radicons! If not, go to it!)! Thanks for sharing :thumb

I is jealous of myself - still can't quite believe I was able to get him. :)  He's so shiny!

    @ Avenged9 - A really good price, too, at £40 a pop.

Me either! I'm the only person I know with green walls. Plus, it's wallpaper, not paint.

@ Auto Morph - I wasn't expecting to do one quite so detailed, but justamaze said they'd like to see the whole place ^.^

Yes, whenever anybody says the Bayformers movies are a waste of time, I like to remind them that they're what introduced me to the Transformers fandom. :)  And awwwww. My parents both have geeky action figures out on display, so they can't protest hahaha. Not without being hypocrites. :3

I will definitely do a shoot of rmgoody08's custom Megatron tomorrow when the light is better. He's an absolute marvel.

    Thank you for commenting!

@ Ziero - Yep. My dog won't go anywhere near that dinosaur, or my RM Dalek.

@ Tomagnus - You're welcome, thank you for replying :3

    @ Thenames9 - You'll get there someday! :D

@ Superquad7 - Thanks! And no, I don't have a thread for Wasp or Galvatron in Customs...they're my first two so they're a little, um, bad. To put it mildly. Heh.

Anyway, so this post isn't all tl;dr text, here are two pictures of my Mum's science fiction shelves. It's totally relevant because she loves Ravage, so I gave her the Henkei one that goes with my Hound. He's in the second picture, next to Tin Tin's Snowy. :3

EDIT: Oh, right. I meant to say I painted the base of that War of the Worlds Martian shuttle. I'm quite proud of it. XD

    @ Prowl4680, FatalT 71 - Thanks! =)
@ Locustreign - YOU KNOW DARN WELL WHERE I GOT THOSE FROM.

    CUSTOM LEADER CLASS DOTM MEGATRON

Just to emphasise again, this custom was not made by me! It was made by the very talented RMGOOD08 of YouTube, and the link will take you to the video he made of Mad Max Megatron before he sold him. To me. :3

These are just a few photos to get us started, I'm waiting for a package so I had some spare time. Unfortunately I don't have a lightbox...yet. So you'll have to make do with my Mum's flowery sitting room.

Overview with Leader Class HFTD Starscream for size comparison.

He has bits of barbed fence stuck to him, as well as blackened windows and lots of dry-brushing.

His 'thigh guards' are from ROTF Voyager Megatron. They've been cut so that the leg is still allowed maximum movement.

The cannon is attached with a hinge that fits the weapon placement gimmick on the current Generations range. So you can attach whatever you want. There is a hinge on both arms.

The feet are clawed, so he's on tippy-toes all the time. This makes him taller than ROTF LC Prime, which is a nice touch.

Unerneath the foot/front of the truck. Absolutely gorgeous detailing.

    And his kibble backpack.

I'll do a vehicle mode photoshoot when I'm brave enough to transform him...we all know what Prime is like to do!
