I wish I could afford to play this, considering that the Beatles are the best band ever.

Fuck knows. I think this is where we see the divergence of brand where both can be sustained. Guitar Hero keeps on with its finger pretzel slant toward metal and crazy shit whereas Rock Band keeps its more friendly and diverse catalogue.

    No reason both can't co-exist.

Actually it's apparently NOT a rock band game. The Beatles are getting their very own game. I have to say it would be a serious mistake to not make this compatible with RB (aside from the controllers) or even installable like they did with RB1.

YouTube - Ringo Starr No more Fan Mail

My guess is it will be set up like the AC/DC one and just be a straight list of songs. What would be amazing is if they broke it up into sets starting with songs from when they where just getting started in Germany onto there last album, have in game characters molded on the lads and have them change each set to reflect how they dressed during that time.

From what I've read this sounds more substantial than the AC/DC track pack. It sounds as if it's going to end up being more like what you described.
