I am trying to compile a list of all of the modern "Beast Wars" and "'Pre-Beast' Beast Wars" toys for me to collect (for the Pre-Beasts, I don't count "Dawn of Future's Past" and the Club exclusive Airazor because they are WAY out of my price range). Here's what I got:

    Beast Wars
    • Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Deluxe Optimus Primal
    • Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Deluxe Megatron
    • Animated Deluxe Blackarachnia
    • Animated Deluxe Waspinator
    • Universe 2.0 Deluxe Cheetor
    • Universe 2.0 Deluxe Dinobot
    • Universe 2.0 Voyager Leo Prime
    • Cybertron Ultra Cryo Scourge (Cryotek)

    "Pre-Beast" Beast Wars
    • Cybertron Deluxe Longrack
    • Cybertron Deluxe Buzzsaw
    • Animated Deluxe Fugitive Waspinator
    • RotF Deluxe Thrust (Terrosaur)
    • RotF Scout 'Orange Dirt Boss repaint' (Rattrap)

    Other
    • Armada Deluxe Sideways (Thrust)
    • Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime (gorilla, Universe Optimus Primal)
    • Cybertron Deluxe Megatron (Predacon)
    • Cybertron Ultra Dark Scorponok (can be used as either Pre-Beast or Beast Wars Scorponok)
    • Animated Deluxe Jetstorm
    • Animated Voyager Shockwave (Tankor)
    • RotF Scout Tankor (Tank Drone)
    • RotF Voyager Mindwipe (Universe Razorclaw)

Anything else you guys are thinking of?

How about a couple of Japanese TFs? Their Telemocha line is rare, but produced fantastic repaints of figures! I recommend the Optimus Primal and Megatron deluxes.

Did you mention the Stalker Scorponok repaint from the ROTF line?

If you're after modern Beast Wars era toys, you ought to track down either the Telemocha Convoy and Megatron or the Robot Masters Beast Convoy and Beast Megatron (same toys, different versions - the Telemochas have the more accurate paint apps, IIRC)

Those two molds are great Deluxe sized versions of the original Optimus Primal and Megatron and are more in scale with their troops. Primal himself is excellent, very show accurate and very poseable.

Some form of the Wreckage mould would make a good "Pre-beast" Dinobot, in my opinion.

Most Japanese figures are out of my price range.

I'm on the fence with Stalker Scorponok. It's either him or Cybertron Dark Scorponok.

The Wreckage would would be great for Dinobot! I Never thought of that... Maybe the Bludgeon version could be BM Dinotron?

i missed beast wars, but looking back i saw toys like Cheetor, miserable-face Primal, teh crap black arachnia and i just wrote them off as an aborration on the TF toys front. However i do tend to drink lots of beer and then go on ebay.

    ...

Optimus Primal (the black and white one) arrived today and bugger me! if he's not the biggest baddest robo ape in the goddamned galaxy, i'm a monkey's uncle. i want more beastwars characters now, T-rex-glove-puppet-hand Megatron being top of my list.
