Hi all,,,recently i have my sights on the takara beast wars metals figures listed as NEW on ebay. Most of them are listed as new, but upon closer inspection of the pictures, i CAN NOT see any signs of twist ties binding the figures with the boxes. So does anyone here know that it is normal for these takara figures to not come with the twist ties, or are the figures have been in fact opened and the seller is just pretending its a MISB figure on ebay? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Don't quote me but it may be a start until another more knowledgable member posts. IIRC Takara does not use twist ties, they use the the plastic tray with a plastic cover system to pack their toys. So basically they incase the figure in two layers of plastic.
I sold my TM Takara Megs a month ago, no twist ties. They used 3 sections of plastic: Bottom - Compartment(s) for figure and accessories Middle - A top layer that holds the items in place, but does not cover bottom layer's four sides. This layer also has the sticker/hologram card on it. Top - Holds down the middle layer and cover the four sides of the bottom layer. Basically covers up everything. This layer has the two metallic stickers on it.
