During the events of the episode "Master Blaster" (BW s3 ep49) Shrapnels body aboard the Ark awoke from stasis lock. Fleeing the ship, he later joined with the Predacons for a short time before being captured and put into statis lock by the Maximals. Greetings guys, It's been while since I posted anything. This guy has been sitting unfinished for a while. It started out as an Animorphs beetle guy figure. The human heads were removed and replaced with a robot heroes Shrapnel(insecticon) head. The missing middle insect legs were replaced with claw thingies from beast wars Buzzclaw and the mandibles came from a beast wars Insecticon. He was sprayed with Krylon Metallic silver, black, and yellow. The purple is Citadel Liche Purple. Hope you guys enjoy this unique take. EDIT: I touched up the chest, kind of. I added two rubber bands to give it some detail/layering. I think it looks better with this.
Hehe! You've got finger prints on it! In any case, I like the deep purple shades on him. The colour looks very 3-D to me! Nice one Conundrum!
yes the chest need a bit correction maybe u can create an edge with some epoxy putty strips,that will make the chset more detailed and not only painted on those strips u can always add some detailing .... but i really like the color scheme and the bot mode
Woohoo, nice to see you amoung the living once again lol! He pretty darn cool and you did a real good job bashing to get the desired effect! With a G1 accurate color scheme this is a win in my book!

I love the custom, but the little bio couldn't work with cartoon continuity, as Shrapnel was never aboard any of the Spaceships, he crashed on earth before the Ark did.
