The fun part was trying to find my original BW Optimus Primal & Megatron. I found literally every Transformer I own, scouring my house to find them. It took about 2 days, but they're here. I just thought it wouldn't be right not to have them in this gallery with the Beast Wars Reborn figures.

After looking at those pics, I think I like that set better than what Hasbro is giving us. I might have to import those if I can ever get far enough ahead financially.

Damn you for making me want something I cannot currently afford. Great set of images there. I like these so much more than the ones Hasbro are putting out.

Those do look damn nice, although I'm not sure if I should really pic them up or not. I mean, I already have the originals and these are a bit spendy. Then again, they do look really badass. Gah, decisions, decisions.

I am so glad I never broke down and bought the originals off eBay. I can't wait for my set to arrive.

Same here! After comparing what Hasbro is releasing, I'm aiming for Takara's version due to show accuracy!

Definately wanting Primal, but that Megatron... :puke:  Ugh, real laziness right there. The head is just plain ugly (what was wrong with the proportions of the original head; he looks like a freaking kid now), and it's a shame they left all the purple parts the same (it clashes horribly with the current colorscheme). :peoples:  I'll be going Hasbro with this one, especially since I already have the originals...

Got mine this weekend and they are well worth it (for me, anyway). Megatron turned out better then I thought he would and Primal is just palin awesome. The remolds and paint scheme just makes these two of the best BW figures to date IMO. Sure there were some cool ones in later line but the Primal mold was always my favorite from the series and to now have a show accurate version of the mold is just to cool for words.

I like the looks of these alot, I also like the Hasbro Megs. The hasbro prime is an abomination.

I have such a disporportionate number of primes, I wouldn't mind getting both megs.
