thats what tformers.com says anyways, despite there being no such thing as a Beast Wars Neo Magnaboss. Beast Wars The Second, yes. but not Neo.

EDIT: I meant to say "Beast Wars Reborn". could someone change the topic title?

No, I'm pretty sure Big Convoy fought against Magnaboss during Neo. Didn't he?

Magnaboss was on the cybertron side in BWII. His head was formed by Lio Junior, who was Lio Convoy's "son".

Either they mixed up the shows, which I can imagine being easy to do if you're not overly familiar with them, or it's just wrong?

Beast Wars Returns? The Japanese version of Beast Machines?

    ???
(edit: I see it's Beast Wars Reborn, the reissue line. A followup to the Primal/Megs set. Interesting!)

    Several things to consider:

    - No source is stated
    - Magnaboss was from BW II, not BW Neo
    - RIDICULOUS price point
    - Conflicts with information I got from F2F (which was "No new TF toys from Takara between April and July")

So please, take some. You might need it.

If they did do a re-release of him it'd probably look damn near the same as the previous US and Japanese versions anyway so perhaps it's good that it's BS?

AFAIK, the jap Magnaboss was pretty damn show accurate

And again, i wouldnt believe Takara would release him instead of other figures wich needed a better show repaint, like the TM2 Ultra´s, or even Op Op

This could be interesting, but I'll keep the salt for now. Be nice if they did though as I've wanted to get him, but haven't been able to find a decently priced one complete. Well, here's hoping.

Great mold, perhaps my favorite gestalt mold. Maybe I'm rare, but I prefer the Hasbro version. I like the Takara colorations for the individual Maximals, but MagnaBoss's face looks like makeup. Yes, most TF's have colorful faces, but somehow on MagnaBoss it comes across differently; almost like kibuke (sp).
