    transformers beast wars the movie

instead of the reboot being more trucks and cars how about beast wars

    pros and cons

    pros

we can rid our shelves of a certian camero
it would be great chance to bring in characters from beast wars
it would able them to do a reboot of seires closer as they can avoid any mix up

    cons

the new style of transformers can effect beast wars then we could end up with some crazy stuff this can be a pro if done right

if it fails we probly will NEVER see beast wars again by it self it will always be linked to another series ( animated and prime )

so what do you think can it work does the movie vers have a futer with beast wars

Please, not another one of these. How about asking for more animal Transformers in the movies? Though at this rate I think we're lucky to have four. Five, if you count that Dread's (Hatchet, Crowbar?) beast like robot mode.

As far as the general movie going audience, you know, the ones that made TFs a trizillion dollars, I really doubt they would line up to see TFs as bio-organic hybrids, featuring a metallic bot mode with a realistic animal alt mode, in prehistoric times, with no human interaction and featuring a totally new cast of characters. It took me like a decade just to accept the organic style alt modes and I'm a TF fan...as far as the main movie audience...just doesn't seem like a good idea to go with.

Great idea that I've had since awile before the Bayverse.

    1. All GGI , so as not to differentiate from source material ( Same V.A.'s , same story arcs, and the size changes from Beast Mode to Robot are easier to digest )

    2. 2 Trilogys per ieteration ( Wars - Machines )

    3. Suprises the fandom I'd never expect from Beast Wars - Machines ( Ideas? )

    4. Steve Jablonsky, James Newton Howard,John Debney, Don Davis all collaborates on specific story arc's musical score!

If done right, it could be as big a hit as the original Beast Wars series. The aesthetic will have to be something fresh, however; no way the Bay-verse designs are going to work here.

As for 'no human interaction'... who says there has to be none? Create a King Kong type setting, where a human protagonist who's a naturalist or monster hunter journeys to some remote region in deepest, darkest Africa to investigate reports of huge, savage animals, and you're all set.

I wouldn't like this at all, honestly. Beast Wars was a good series and everything, but it never really felt like Transformers to me.

Beast Wars would not be such a great idea because people would not be able to find a connection to the story or understand why these characters can't transform and have to fight as animals.

If they were too reboot I say go to Cybertron and tell an origins story of Optimus, megatron and the War. A little X-Men first class but it would be a change of pace from earth and gives it a nice chance at another persons reboot.

In my opinion, Beast Wars was the only series (along with Animated) that made me care about the characters. Assuming a BW movie is made it should have a small, interesting core of characters who are given more than two lines of dialogue and killed off instantly. It would have to have a drastically different style though. I don't think the spindly, digitigrade robot designs would work very well.

Beast Wars was a neat toy concept with a story that made no sense, serving as just enough of an innovation to bridge what would have been a detrimental gap in the presence of the Transformers brand.

    No thanks.

Beast Wars was a huge change in the brand, with many of the fans of G1 reluctantly giving it a chance, while others believed it would be the end of the franchise. The Bayformers fans, AKA the general public, would be much less forgiving.
