This concerns BW II Galvatron. i saw it the other day going for cheap at a local toyshop.

So far i already have all the main BW leaders (Primal, Lio convoy, Megatron & Magmatron). i'm still undecided whether he's worth getting, b'coz it seems dat the BW villian toys dat always get the most attention is Magmatron.

But from what i see he's somewhat like a triple-changer with a robot mode, drill tank & dragon mode. anybody care to give a second opinion on da toy?

Yeah, definitely worth getting. Although, you shouldn't have to pay more than $30 for him and that's MISB. :thumbs2:

He's a great toy. Playable as hell IMO. I picked him up in the Vs set with Lioconvoy, and I've never regretted it.

I'd pay that for it if it's MIB or MISB.

I'm not even sure why Magmatron is more popular than Galvatron. Galvatron's robot mode, color scheme, weaponry (Axe elbows, buzzsaw wings, MACHINE GUN KNEES!), they're all more apealing to me than Magmatron's giant ears. He's one of my favorite BW figures

He's great, all modes are cool IMO, and he has the added bonus of being the only TF to contain a glass part.

    BW2 Galvy has glass?

Also, doesn't he suffer from GPS? I hear those legs of his are pretty fragile.

Still, I kinda want one too.

The marble in his chest is glass.

As far as GPS on him, I've never heard that, and mine shows no signs of any cracking or wear.

I don't think he suffers from GPS. My one seems fine.

He's an awesome robot. Great drill tank, fun dragon mode. You'll love him, he's one of the best villain toys released for the Beast Wars era.

Definitely a great figure, miles ahead of Magmatron in all departments [looks, articulation], but people, he does suffer from that dreaded GPS.

One of the dragon feet on mine just snapped as he was standing [in robot mode, no less] with no provocation.

Other than that, he's got a less impressive but far more playable dragon mode than TM2 Megatron [thanks to the neck being hard plastic with joints] and his robot mode has tons of articulation. Only points missing are double elbow joints and ankle joints to make this figure one of the best in the BW era.

Mine's alright, though I admit it's been on the shelf for years so I haven't transformed it to risk any GPS breakage. But it is an awesome figure.

Amazing figure. Second Japanese fig I ever bought (Lio Convoy was the first). Never regretted it.

He's awesome, must have. Plus I think it's the only TF with a glass marble inside it.
He also has knee cannon caps! No one's ever going to make this guy kneel
