Since you asked... Had to save a friend's life. His parents died while he was living with them with no job. Months later with no bills paid he had no power, no water, no food, and a pile of taxes and late bills with no way to get a job, so no hope of keeping his parent's home, and not real high odds of survival. My family couldn't afford to pay for his life and ours so we had to move into his wreck of a house, fix it up, pay the bills and taxes, and my wife got him a good job. Couldn't just let a friend I've known since we were 12 lose what little he had left and possibly die.
Due to things that resulted from that, which is too long a story to tell, we are kind of stuck here for at least the next couple of years.
Here, I have just a small corner of a living room for a shop. No room for my photo center, so you might notice all of my pics have been taken outside on the front porch for the last year.
I don't really want to sit outside and make youtube videos of action figures with my phone, so... Yep.
