He's the Maximal combiner, Magnaboss; he's made up of the eagle (Silverbolt), the lion (Prowl), and the elephant (Ironhide).
Silverbolt comes with 2 feathers that become missiles. If I remember correctly (mine's been in storage for a few years now) Prowl comes with a detachable tail section that becomes a weapon, and Ironhide has sort of gun barrel pieces that fit on behind the elephant ears. If I were you I'd also track down his instructions; he's fairly tricky to combine in certain parts.
Anything else you need to know d00d?

Wrong Silverbolt. Fuzors Silverbolt has the feather missiles. Magnaboss Silverbolt has two regular missiles that fire from inside the wings, and two swords that become some of the wing feathers in beast mode.

Prowl's tail becomes a grappling claw.

When they form Magnaboss, their weapons combine into a big broadsword. Prowl's tail is the weapon's hilt, Ironhide's clubs become the base of the blade, and Prowl's feather swords become the tip of the sword.

The only memorable thing I remember about those toys is that they were a pain in the neck for me to combine! In my time owning them, I have only combined them 5-10 time at the most but it was a good concept by Hasbro.

The Japanese release of this one was sold individually. Lio Junior, the "Prowl" component, has a different and very nice paintjob, especially the extra definition on the merged face. It looks a lot more "tribal warrior", a look that you can't really escape from when you're wearing an eagle as a hat.

Are you talking about both of the combiners or just Magnaboss? Cos I dont have a hard time combining Tripredacus (though I do have a hard time getting his beetle guy into beast mode). I dont own Magnaboss so I cant comment

I have both of 'em, and like 'em for their complexity. Tripredacus is worth tracking down. Magmatron, too. Magmatron is made from 3 dinosaurs who combin into one ugly beast or one badass robot. The individual dinos don't have robot forms, though, which is a shame.

I'm not sure why you're resisting checking out the thread I keep referring you to, Mike, because almost all the scans you need/want are in there, but here's a direct link to Magnaboss, anyway:
