After g1 and g2 classics lines run their course does anyone think were headed for a "classics" beast wars line, like the way classics reinvented g1?

I'd definitely love for some more BW toys in the next edition of Classics. Rhinox is an absoute MUST.

 

I hope to see the screen characters getting some updates. Erm...I think we still need a "better" Cheetor, even though we had one in TFU/Henkei.  

 

As a line of its own, not gonna happen. As more Beast figures in the next Classics style lines? Sure, it could happen.

 

I don't have any love for BW.

 

I think a few figs here and there would be possible and really that's all that is needed. Most of the toys are already pretty darn accurate and good enough. But I echo the need for a better Rhinox, but personally would like a nice Airazor, Terrorsaur and well the Season 1 Basics. I think from Transmetal and forward things are good enough.

 

I would love an updated megatron.

 

I'd like to see the core Maximals get updated. I can live with the Universe Cheetor and Dinobot, so definitely keen for Rhinox and Rattrap updates.

Peed wise I would like to see Megs, waspinator and Tarantulus mainly, followed by Inferno and Blackarachnia. I'd say Rampage but his alt mode was so kibbletastic.

 

I can only dream....

 

I only want an updated Megatron if it's based on his initial Transmetal form, which was easily his best design.

I think you're right, if simply because it seems like the 10th Anniversary line was out about five years ago.

 

While they're at it, Takara should do a Device Label update for Heinrad.

i wouldn't mind a transmetal megs. especially for all the ppl who had the arm snap off, like mines. a rhinox would be nice also.

 

They already "paid homage" to both Cheetor & Tigatron with their USB 2G thumbdrive & those shelfwarmed till today.

Pretty unwanted, even when the local hobby shops were desperate enough to clear 'em at 1/2 price...

I don't know off the top of my head what they were labeled but I know there were an updated Cheetor and Dinobot released. They were mentioned earlier in this thread I believe.

Those figures look really cool to me but over the past few months I've seen people imply they weren't good figures. Can someone give me the skinny on them? Maybe point me to a video review done by someone whose finished puberty?

I'm just curious about them because they look so cool that had I been buying toys at that time and known of them I would have bought them.

 

They were Universe 2.0 figures. Cheetor was pretty terribly. Very inaccurate in bot mode. Dinobot was ok. But the Henkei version had better/more show accurate colours

 

I will only be satisfied with Master Piece BW figures. It would reflect the quality of the show! (actually then we should demand super-ultra-mega Master grades, as G1 got standard MP's)

I'd love Beast Wars Classics. But that might not happen any time soon. Maybe a figure here and a figure there but its going to take some time.
