yep that's the one. I didn't even realize I had the variant until recently. I'm not sure if its Euro though.. I bought it in a lot with a Corhada and Saberback.

So happy to finally get Cheetor...
No joints seem to be too loose but I am wary of the left shoulder.

Excited to get the rest of them in the next couple of months.

I was watching something else on YouTube and this appeared in the suggested videos (as you'd expect). For the first 4 mins or so he responds to criticism of his thoughts on Beast Wars, and he does so very well indeed. I like him even if I dont agree with every one of his points...which is exactly his point. He understand what discussion and debate are all about...were as some of those laying into him do not.

I was thinking about an interview about Hasbro doing a 25th anniversary of beast wars. But during that same year that when war for cybertron part 3 will start. What do you think will happen?

We might get a few beast wars figures as repaints from existing molds. I wouldn't expect much more.

I'd be down, I'd even settle for something like they did with the TM moulds they reused in Armada with bigger beast figures compatible with smaller vehicles

Given how they almost completely ignored the 20th Anniversary I hold out little hope of Hasbro celebrating the 25th Anniversary with much more than a couple of Beast Wars related moulds/reissues/repaints. The interview, although interesting, made no promises.

I would be happy with a telemocha tigatron and blackarachnia reissue - in US packaging. And then maybe all of the other S1 molds that never got a 10th update - so Terrorsaur (like D5 please lol), Scorponok (contract the guy who just made that custom head), Inferno, Rattrap, Airazor.

Then they could do a couple of BAF Vok or a larger representation of the Axalon/Darksyde.

That's if we're talking original molds. I think I speak for all of us in wanting new molds instead of old ones.

Honestly I am excited for the possibility of 3P stepping in and doing Infernos guns or a pair of Rhinox's chain guns. Maybe even a couple of show accurate Quazars for Tigatron and Cheetor. Even if they don't integrate the weapons in the transformation who cares. I think the shockwave lab kit for Cheetor and Rattrap was so cool and I want more! A show accurate grappling hook for BA and some little spider drones for Tarantulas would be cool too. There is just so many possibilities to tap into.

I can easily see a Generations Terrorsaur. He's pretty popular amongst G1 fans.

That geezer who made the Scorponok head also has some of those arachni-drones for Tarantulas. Pricey though of course.
I’d be all for them otherwise- but the thought of an MP TM Tarantulas has me giddy! Such a great design. Imposing to certain characters who he needed to display some dominance over but still a puny punk in comparison to the likes of Primal, Dinobot and Megatron.

You know, that could be the case. 25th Anniversary could just focus on a rerelease of Generations Cheetor, Dinobot, Rhinox, Rattrap and Waspiantor. Nothing really too new. Correct me if I am wrong.

This background started as a rendering of Snoke's throne room from Episode 8. I played a lot with the colors and flipped it and spun it and played with the vibrance and lighting.

The BWII Galvatron pic I took for this image is the biggest reason I am getting a new camera next week. I've taken between 30K and 40K pics with the camera, I've dropped it a few times, and its about 8 years old. It just isn't taking pics without being blurry anymore. Since it would cost about 75 to get it repaired, and I found a good camera on sale for 115, it just makes sense to get a new camera all together. This specific base pic came out blurrier than I expected, so I deleted most of that batch after making this pic.

I could see it going a little like this:

Plus Masters and Legends, of course.

I'd love to see a Beast Wars 25th Anniversary line, be it reissues, repaints or new moulds, or even a new 'Beast-era' within Generations (or whatever we are calling that line by that time)....and it's possible I guess. It's almost 2 years away though so starting to speculate wildly about it now seems a massive waste of all of our time especially with how little evidence we have to go on.

I think Hasbro would be way too scared of alienating a big chunk of their customer base to do a full-on Beast Wars line. Would love to be wrong on that though!

With the whole cybertron theme in this trilogy, I wouldn't be surprised to see some more Beast Machine homages though.

For sure. A purely BW line is best case scenario.

Given the number of notable G1 beasts that are yet to be done, we could perhaps share a line down the track.

Agreed! And imagine if they did and it was a flop! They never touch beasts again for years. I honestly think it would be a mistake for Hasbro to base an entire season of Generations on beasts be it soley Beast Wars or a mixture of beasts from across the entire franchise. It would be interesting to see and I'm not saying, if they were brave and clever about it, it couldn't work...but it's Hasbro we are talking about here! Done wrong it won't go down well with the G1 hardcore at all..who, let's face it, remain Hasbro's primary and most profitable audience.

At the very best I can see them creating a small "25th Anniversary" sub-line of releases. comprising of some new BW characters/moulds into the Generations line, releasing MP Primal and Cheetor in the US/West and reissuing/repainting some original BW figures all under a loose anniversary banner. Personally I think that's the smart way to go and should appease most. I for one would be very impressed Indeed, however I expect a lot less. Don't forget it will also be the 35th anniversary of the G1 movie...so they may want to go with that again *yawn*

That would be cool, and make more sense seeing as the Vechlion characters and designs are a far better fit with the G1 aesthetic. Plus they were generally more popular with the fandom than the Maximal designs from BM. Personally I loved both but I'm quite aware I'm in a minority ;)
