Still regret never owning that mold. Should track down at least one version of it some time. To think it would have been my very first Beast Wars figure had I not decided to get Snapper instead.

Armordillo was my first BW figure, too... I think. Either him or Terrorsaur. They were my first Maximal and Predacon respectively.

Ultra class primal was my first and at the time only bw figure. Over the years he lost lots of parts so i bought a broken one on ebay that had the pieces i needed and fixed mine all up. I gave the scraps to my son who was 2 at the time. He calls it monkey autobot lol

My first BW figure was the deluxe Dinobot. So fun~ I remember playing with him and imagining him as an alien hunting down the G2 Lazer Prime, who I pictured as a human in a power armour. Good times.

I'm not one to normally brag, but I just scored am absolute Holy Grail for me. A MISB 2006 Botcon box set for $800.

Transformers Dawn of Futures Past Botcon 2006 figure set MIB | eBay

I have seen two of these in person and didn't have the money both times. Once was a few weeks after the con where the guy was selling everything (including Waspinator and Megatron and the birds) for $600. I had the money, but that was still a lot 12 years ago. I wasn't missing it this time. And at $800, it just hit my sweet spot. And it is minty fresh.

My first BWs were Cheetor and Grimlock, whom I referred to as Dinobot because I didn't get any of the toys until after I'd discovered the show and so I missed out on him. There was a kid in my elementary school who had Dinobot though and man I was enamoured. Something about the original BW toys just captivated me. I actually think it was the lack of show accuracy, it made the toys mysterious (since this was before you could just look up galleries online, the only way you could see the toys in both modes outside owning them was grainy catalogue/co-sell pictures or on the playground) because they weren't like the show. But to my six year old brain they were close-enough, and the differences were just interesting... quirks I guess? That's not really how I thought of them as a kid. There was also a kid I saw playing with Rhinox in the sandbox and he let me hold it. Thinking back I think he was missing the weapons (a common tactic when bringing toys to school was to deliberately leave accessories and easily lost parts at home) but I was just so amazed that the rhino jaw was actually on the chest and the head on the back. :lol

Good times. I also remember brining Rampage and Silverbolt to school as Bad Spark was the most recent episode, and a friend ripped Silverbolt's head off but then put it back on. For some reason all I remember was that I was jealous I couldn't do it myself. :lol

Amazing purchase. I just learned about these figures last month and wrote them off due to the price tag.

I think they could work these guys into the last stage of the new War for Cybertron figure line and give us more Beast Wars off of it.

Since others are saying first BW figure, I’m pretty certain it was the Optimus and Megatron 2 pack of them as a bat and crocodile at my local KB Toys. RIP.

My first TF ever was Blackarachnia. My sister got it for me for my 10th birthday. We were confused because her bio said she used a web and there was no web in the package. :p
