Was doing some photoshooting with Beast Machines tonight and since I had everything out so I decided to do a full comparison shoot between Beast Machines and Beast Wars Returns Cycle Drone's.

    Enjoy!

Wow, the darker one on the right looks so much sharper. Which is which?

That's the Beast Machines version on the right. He looks so much better, IMO. Though i do like the Vehicon logos tempo'd on the Japanese version.

There's really not that much different on it to et me excited about it. One's a little darker with barely noticable paint differences.

So the lighter one's BWR? The clear bits are so much better, though I prefer the darker red of BM version. Nice pics!

Barely any discernable difference. Not even remotely worth the price the BWR copy fetched online. I'm quite happy with my domestic cycle drone.

I'm glad I imported all the BWR items, even if some weren't as much of a departure from the originals as I'd hoped. I also REALLY wish we'd gotten the Optimal Optimus with Megatron head that was rumored to be the final piece in the line.

Tank Drone, Megahead, and Obsidian are definitely worth the price of admission, though.

I'm surprised at that, it seems like usually the jpn versions are the sharper ones. Though the clear plastic is much sharper on the BWR.

I still want to snag a BWR Obsidian; I've got the other 3, kinda need number 4.

That's why I'm glad I only paid a total of $25 for he and the BWX Tank Drone (for the set) :D

Im glad I have the cheaper regular BM version, but I like the red rims and the red hoses with chrome on them better on the other one.
The unpainted plastic around the hands look proto'ish , but I like the silver they used for the exausts and the flames seem better

I guess it's a tie for me lol
