This looks pretty good! Can the wings come off? Any chance we could get a pic of his back?

I dig how over the top this is. I'm a little bummed that he has no swords though. But I do like the look of the plastic what with the grey mixed in and all. I also like the wings.

Beast Hunters Wheeljack looks ALOT better than I expected.

Definitely and awesome figure that I'll end up picking up at some point.

I would also like to see how the back looks. It seems to be missing a part (probably because of that large weapon to attach itself).

Still passing on these, but if any figure could get me to buy something from this line...it would be Wheeljack. Right now though, he's still doing nothing for me. If he is in fact missing some part on the back, then I'm definitely not getting him. Even at clearance prices.

Sticking with the new characters/Predacons from this line. Wheeljack's definitely the best redesigned S1/S2 character, but I like the regular one I already own, so pass.

He looks like a dinosaur hunter, I need this, too! Bumblebee looks like he's ready to fight all manner of beasts, but Wheeljack looks like he's about to take on some scaley lizard beasts! He could probably give Grimlock a run for his money, haha!

I am in lesbians with the Wheeljack one, no doubt. I feel like I'm fawning over an elementary school crush!

    You're in WHAT?
    Never heard that phrase before.

The smoke-color on the hood is bugging me more than it should. The new pics Deathy G1 posted of PRiD WJ and BH WJ together make it stand out even more. Makes it look more like a smoker's accident than intentional designing.

i can just see ebay auctions for this 20 years from now... "comes from a smoke-free home!" and in the comments box "i can see some blatant smoke damage on the front.."

I realised a couple of 3 things about jackie after seeing EmGo316's review.

    1) The clip wheels may allow you to make optional tire cutters via shapeways and pop them right into the hubs for that james bond look.

    2) His kibble of the wings and spear when placed on his back looks exactly like he has a big bird stuck on his back - it really IS a falcon spear.

    3) he has alot more room for storage in his front of car area now so a shapeway made wrist blaster can be a lot bigger than before and still fit inside the front of the car for storage.

I also really like that he has the same feet and front of car connections as before so you can still use the swords with him at least partially.

Wanted to point this out since its easy to miss especially if you don't look at the instruction sheet. (Where it's only pointed out in robot to car mode anyway.) The wings can be pulled out a bit to give a wee bit more clearance. It also locks the them in place and they no longer swing up. Just in case anyone missed it.

Does this figure have any ports in bot or alt mode to peg in some Arms Microns?

    Shin,

He has a port on the roof of car mode for a micron, but that's nearly it.

    LOVE THE TRON POSE!!!!

    Pros:
. Wheeljack probably makes the best use of the marbled plastic of the three remolded toys.

. Wheeljack retains most of what is good about the original

    Cons:
. the bigger wings and shoulders get in each others' way easily, and the larger shoulders accentuate the already long arms of the Wheelack mold

. Some joints could stand to be tightened up, like the wings and the forearms, which are unable to hold up the weapon one-handed, and barely two-handed. Forearms seem prone to popping off too.

    Notes:
. This is the kind of car you'd see in an Aztec parade.

    Overall:
. It's not bad, but the Beast hunters treatment on this mold makes it suffer, mainly because the original Prime Wheeljack mold was quite well designed, and this version backslides somewhat. By comparison Bumblebee is more an improvement and Soundwave is a side-step.

At least the obnoxious "slap-on" wheels are not as obvious on Wheeljack as on Bumbleebee.

Does BH Wheeljack's head fit on PRID Wheeljack's neck joint?
